Swifties are avidly participating in a scavenger hunt and have discovered exceptional content within Travis Kelce's archived tweets on X (formerly Twitter). These posts, which have recently resurfaced, have captivated fans of Taylor Swift. The nation's fascination with the whirlwind romance between Swift and the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end has led to an unexpected interest in football among Swifties.
In April 2011, a user named One X was amazed by the diversity of Kelce's thoughts and shared two screenshots of contrasting posts. The first post stated, "I recently fed a squirrel a piece of bread, and it devoured the entire thing! I had no clue they enjoyed bread like that! Haha #crazy."
In September 2012, Kelce expressed a thought-provoking perspective in his second tweet. He acknowledged that the ability to reminisce about the past through memory has the potential to liberate individuals from the constraints of the present.
Aside from his charming misspelling of "squirrel," Kelce seemed to encounter difficulty with the name of a specific fast casual chain on numerous occasions.
"I am in tears over his dedication to this spelling," expressed a social media user as they shared a screenshot of Kelce misspelling Chipotle as "Chipolte" on four different occasions.
"Really grateful for everyone's birthday wishes from yesterday! It was quite a challenging day, but everything is fine! I think I'm going to #Chipolte though," read a tweet from 2010, expressing their gratitude despite facing a difficult day.
Kelce also expressed his fondness for another fast food restaurant in a 2009 post. "About to grab some Taco Bell!!! then catch up with everyone and see what's happening tonight," he wrote about a night out.
While it may seem like the internet is mocking Kelce, the response to the rediscovered tweets has primarily been an admiration for the athlete's genuine character. One X user summed it up nicely: "Swifties searching through Travis's old tweets expecting something controversial, but all they find is that this man enjoys chipotle, struggles with spelling, and simply goes with the flow. A true king."
One social media user expressed their excitement for Kelce, seeing him as a refreshing change from the serious types, such as Joe Alwyn and Jake Gyllenhaal, that Swift, 33, has dated previously. They stated, "I've been waiting for a Taylor Swift himbo for years."

In July, Kelce made his interest in Swift known, sharing that he attended one of her Kansas City Eras Tour concerts that month. He even gifted her a special friendship bracelet as a token of their budding friendship.
"I had the intention of presenting Taylor Swift with a bracelet containing my contact information," he expressed during an installment of his podcast titled "New Heights." "I felt a bit disappointed that I wasn't able to personally give her one of the bracelets I had crafted specifically for her."
Approximately two months later, Swift compensated for the lost opportunity by attending a Chiefs game in Kansas City and enjoying the event alongside Travis' mother, Donna Kelce.
Swift continued to show her support for Travis multiple times before he reciprocated by attending her show in Buenos Aires on November 11th. Once the concert ended, Swift rushed off stage to share a kiss with Kelce. Video footage captured by fans shows them kissing until they entered a tent and were no longer visible.
Despite the stark contrast between Kelce's old tweets and Swift's carefully written lyrics, they both possess a relatability that resonates with fans, despite their overwhelming success in their respective fields.
One X user acknowledged this phenomenon while responding to one of Kelce's 2010 tweets, where he expressed his dissatisfaction, saying, "Tomorrow is my birthday and I have nothing to do! I hate this feeling right now!"
Accompanying the post, the X user stated, "He embodies feminine qualities."
