Travis Kelce acknowledged the discussion about his resurfaced tweets, remarking, "What’s hilarious is that nobody followed me back then," on the November 22nd episode of their “New Heights” podcast. His older brother Jason Kelce, 36, playfully referred to it as "the biggest news" of the week.
The brothers chuckled as they chatted about Travis’ digital history. “Seems like everyone loves college Travis,” Jason joked.
Travis admitted that he wanted to erase his old posts from the internet before fans found them. “I’ve really been trying to delete those old tweets,” he admitted. “Ever since joining the NFL, I’ve been wanting to get rid of them. But then everyone started digging into 2011. What a year that was.”
Jason tried to reassure his brother by saying, "We all have tweets that we wish we could delete." He then asked Travis what goes through his mind when he reads his old posts. Travis responded with a laugh, "I was using Twitter like a diary, just saying nonsense."

The Kelces and fans both noticed a tweet from April 2011 that stood out. "I just gave a squirrel a piece of bread and it straight smashed all of it!!!! I had no idea they ate bread like that!! Haha #crazy," Travis wrote.
During the podcast, Travis admitted he spelled "squirrel" "like a jackass," but Jason saw the positive side. "I'm only spelling squirrel like that from now on," Jason declared. "I don't know why it's spelled the other way."
Social media users recently combed through Travis’ feed as his relationship with Taylor Swift started to blossom and were taken aback by what they discovered. In 2009 he posted "Bout to get some Taco Bell!!! then hit everyone up, n see whats poppin tonight," and in several subsequent posts misspelled Chipotle as “Chipolte.” (Once the tweets went viral, a Chipotle location in Kansas City even put up a new sign with Travis’ alternate spelling.)
“This is why I don’t tweet anymore,” Travis said on Wednesday. “Because it’s just nonsense.”

Swifties have expressed their strong opinions about Travis since he was first romantically linked to the 33-year-old pop star in September. Many devoted fans have even started following football since the relationship began, just so they can support Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs alongside Swift. While Swift has attended four of his games this season, she was not in attendance when Jason and the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Chiefs on Monday, November 20, in a rematch of Super Bowl LVII.
Travis recently attended Swift's performance in Argentina during the international leg of her Eras Tour. With their busy schedules, the couple is eager to maximize their time together.

In the latest issue of We, a source exclusively reports, "Taylor and Travis have meticulously coordinated plans for the upcoming months, despite her being on tour and him having games. They are determined to minimize time apart and make their relationship as normal as possible."
The insider added: “They love [getting together] with their families and friends, but right now, what they value above all else is alone time.”
