Travis Kelce got teased by his brother, Jason Kelce, for using his flash while at Taylor Swift's Eras Tour show.
During their "New Heights" podcast episode on Wednesday, May 15, Jason, who is 36 years old, playfully compared Travis to their dad. He joked, "Well, you got caught, pulling an Ed Kelce move here taking a video with your flash on. What are you doing, Trav? You're supposed to be better than this."
Travis, 34, had no regrets for choosing to focus the attention on his girlfriend during her Paris show on Sunday, May 12.
He explained, “Oh, you know, if it's dark, the camera will automatically use the flash. I was just trying to capture some good videos and create lasting memories. I don't care what others think."
Jason thought that Travis most likely captured some excellent footage at Swift's concert in Paris for her Eras Tour. Travis, who is known for wearing No. 87 for the Kansas City Chiefs, attended the concert, which was Swift's 87th show on her record-breaking tour.
Travis excitedly talked to Jason about Taylor Swift's performance and the changes she made for her new era, The Tortured Poets Department.
Which song do you think is the standout track on Taylor Swift's latest album, 'The Tortured Poets Department'?
Travis expressed his excitement about attending Tay's show, calling it a fun and enjoyable experience. He highly recommended everyone to see her new rendition of The Eras Tour, featuring songs from her latest album, Tortured Poets Department. Travis emphasized the new elements added to the show, such as a new segment, new lights, new dancing, and an overall fresh vibe that made it a must-see event.
At the show, Travis was seen enjoying the performance with Swift's friend Gigi Hadid and her boyfriend, Bradley Cooper, in the VIP suite. Swift subtly paid tribute to her boyfriend by wearing a red and gold sequin outfit, reminiscent of the Chiefs colors, during the 1989 portion of the show. In the TTPD set, Swift performed "So High School," a song believed to be inspired by their relationship, and incorporated football-themed elements into the choreography.
Travis has been to five of Swift’s shows, including the Kansas City stop before they became a couple in the summer of 2023. Even after attending multiple shows, Travis found it difficult to pick a favorite.
When talking to Jason on Wednesday, Travis expressed his admiration for the energy of the performances. He mentioned, “I can’t tell if the shows keep getting better or if I just keep forgetting how amazing they are. It was such a lively atmosphere. I’m really happy for everyone involved in The Eras Tour, including the dancers, the band, and of course, Taylor. It’s clear they are all having a blast on stage.”
