Travis Kelce, welcome to New York! The 33-year-old tight end from the Kansas City Chiefs landed in the Big Apple a day ahead of his NFL team's game at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Kelce was seen outside Taylor Swift's NYC apartment on Saturday, September 30, sporting a message through his fashion choices. He opted for a casual ensemble, wearing a black tee with the words, "I have no plans today. Mission achieved," along with pinstriped trousers. To top off his look, Kelce donned a matching baseball cap stating, "New York, New York," and vibrant green sneakers.
Kelce's attire suggests that he was trying to keep a low profile, possibly to divert attention from his visit to Swift's home. However, his upcoming Sunday on October 1 promises to be eventful as his team, the Chiefs, will be playing an away game against the New York Jets. The anticipation surrounding the Sunday Night Football event has further intensified with reports revealing that the 33-year-old Swift may be present in the stands. Speculation about Swift's potential cameo intensified when she was seen having dinner with Patrick Mahomes' wife, Brittany Matthews, on Saturday.
Kelce first mentioned on his podcast "New Heights" that he was interested in getting to know the Grammy winner, as they didn't have a chance to exchange numbers at her Eras Tour concert in KC. Eventually, a mutual friend arranged for them to go on two dates privately.
According to a source, Taylor is quite taken with him. However, it's not a serious relationship as Taylor is currently focused on her work and not seeking anything serious. Nevertheless, the possibility of something more is not ruled out, as they continue to grow closer every day.
Kelce extended an invitation to Swift to witness his electrifying performance at Arrowhead Stadium, where she had previously dazzled her fans with the Eras Tour. On September 24, Swift arrived, donning Chiefs merchandise, and was escorted to Kelce's exclusive private box alongside his mother, Donna Kelce.
During their podcast episode on September 27, Travis shared his admiration for Swift's audacity, expressing his delight in hearing nothing but praise from everyone in the suite about her.
He added, "Furthermore, the day was a perfect delight for Chiefs fans. The atmosphere was absolutely electrifying. The sight of slow-motion chest bumps, the joyous high fives with mothers, and the palpable excitement of Chiefs Kingdom being there... it was an unforgettable game, without a doubt."
Afterwards, Travis and Swift departed the stadium together in his private convertible car, making their way to a post-game celebration with their teammates. Travis opted for a light blue KidSuper Studios two-piece outfit that perfectly complemented Swift's 1989 (Taylor's Version) aesthetic, as they joined in the festivities.
