Travis Kelce recently attended Taylor Swift's reimagined Eras Tour and had nothing but praise for his girlfriend's new setlist.
During a podcast episode on Wednesday, May 15, Travis, 34, mentioned that he hasn't been home much lately. His brother Jason, 36, then asked about Travis' experience watching Swift, 34, perform in Paris.
Travis was ecstatic about his experience at Tay's show, describing it as fun and a blast. He highly recommends everyone to go see her new rendition of The Eras Tour, featuring songs from her new album Tortured Poets Department. The show includes new segments, lights, dancing, and everything that makes it a must-see.
Travis enjoyed every moment of the concert he attended at Paris La Défense Arena on Sunday, May 12. It was Swift's 87th show of the tour, and she surprised fans by debuting a new red and gold outfit during the 1989 portion of the performance. The colors of the outfit matched Travis' favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs, for which he wears the No. 87 football jersey.
The tight end was seen dancing at the concert in a video posted on social media, showcasing his dance moves from Fearless to Reputation. He was joined by Gigi Hadid and her new boyfriend, Bradley Cooper, in a VIP suite.
Travis mentioned on Wednesday that he saw familiar faces at the concert and had the chance to see Gigi and Bradley, whom he described as "amazing."
Jason couldn't wait to ask a burning NFL question. "Did you discuss the Eagles?" he joked. Travis confirmed, "Absolutely." (Cooper, a big fan of the Philadelphia football team where Jason played for 13 years before retiring this year.)
Travis described the Paris concert as a wonderful evening.
Swift started her European leg of the Eras Tour in France, treating fans to a new setlist, costumes, and songs from her latest album. She surprised the audience by performing "So High School," a song seemingly inspired by her romance with Travis, along with including football-themed Easter eggs in the choreography during the TTPD set.
Travis, who has attended five of Swift's Eras performances, had a hard time picking a favorite when comparing the Paris concert to previous shows. He expressed his excitement, mentioning how the energy in the venue was electric and how everyone involved in The Eras Tour, from the dancers to the band, seemed to be having a great time on stage.
Travis expressed his excitement about his girlfriend and her team's performance, calling it a unique show that can't be found elsewhere. He also hinted that he plans to attend future performances as the tour continues. During the episode, while recording an ad, Travis playfully joked about his recent travels around the world.
"I'll be dancing all over the world this offseason," he quipped after NFL commissioner Roger Goodell joined the podcast and mentioned his daughters showing him clips of Travis in Paris. "It's like the perfect balance for me. I need to travel around and have some fun during the offseason."
Ever since Travis and Swift started dating last summer, they have been each other’s biggest supporters. Travis, a Grammy winner, attended 13 Chiefs games during the NFL season, including the Super Bowl which his team won for the second year in a row. On the other hand, Travis made sure to attend Swift’s concerts whenever he could, even mentioning to Jason that he was out of the country during one of their recordings.
Their supportive streak is set to continue as the Chiefs have announced their first home game of the upcoming 2024 season. The game against the Baltimore Ravens will take place on September 5, conveniently during a break in Swift’s tour. Travis and his team will surely be looking forward to this exciting matchup.
