Travis Kelce made an appearance on the 'Grotesquerie' set in L.A. alongside Niecy Nash-Betts on Thursday, May 9, amidst Taylor Swift's kick-off of the European 'Eras Tour'. Stay tuned for the latest updates from this exciting collaboration!

Taylor Swift started her Eras Tour in Paris, while Travis Kelce prepared for his debut in Hollywood.

Kelce, 34, landed a role in Ryan Murphy's new FX show, Grotesquerie, and showed up on set on Thursday, May 9, all set to start filming.

"Fellow Grotesquerie star Niecy Nash-Betts joked in an Instagram Story video, "Look who's getting ready for his close-up," as she shared a clip of Kelce getting his makeup touched up before filming began. Kelce, dressed in a black sweater with matching trousers and gold jewelry, flashed a smile for the camera. "Who, me?" he replied with a grin."

Kelce announced on social media that he will be appearing on Grotesquerie for his first TV appearance. In an Instagram video, he expressed his excitement about working with Niecy Nash.

Further details about Grotesquerie's casting or plot have not been disclosed yet.

As Kelce faced a new challenge off the football field, his girlfriend was introducing a revamped Eras Tour set in France. During the performance, Swift, 34, not only changed the lyrics of her song "Karma" to mention her boyfriend on the Chiefs, but also sang new tracks from her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department. One of the songs, "So High School," is believed to be about Kelce, and Swift even mimicked some of Kelce's touchdown celebrations and acknowledged the "swag surfing" move that Chiefs fans do to hype up the players.

Kelce showed his support for Swift by commenting "LFG!" on her guitarist Paul Sidoti's Instagram post about the concert in Paris. Despite missing the first show, Kelce made sure to cheer on Swift.

Before landing a role in Murphy's latest project, Kelce had some experience in acting. He appeared on an episode of Showtime's Moonbase 8 and even hosted Saturday Night Live in March 2023. Kelce returned to the show in October for a parody skit about his relationship with Swift.

During an October 2023 episode of his “New Heights” podcast, Kelce admitted, “I don’t even remember what I said, I blacked out.” He described the moment when the crowd erupted as overwhelming, unsure if he even said what he was supposed to. Despite this, feedback was positive with everyone telling him, “No, you killed it.” Kelce even watched it over but still felt uncertain.

The three-time Super Bowl champ recently showcased his TV talents on Prime Video’s new game show, Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?, which he filmed just last month.

“He’s funny and has the wits for it,” a source previously told We. “He’s the perfect host. It’s a great gig for him.”
