Travis Kelce has no issue praising girlfriend Taylor Swift.

Kelce, 34, confessed to WSJ. Magazine in a profile released on November 20 that he has never been someone who excels in verbal expression. He expressed his astonishment at Taylor's intelligence and how it has constantly amazed him. Every day brings new lessons for him.

In an open interview, the NFL star candidly discussed his journey from being a mere fan of Swift, 33, to becoming her partner. His interest extended beyond just meeting her; he was genuinely excited about attending the Eras Tour.

"She organizes her shows in eras," he explained to the publication, discussing Taylor Swift's Eras Tour. (WSJ. Magazine playfully suggested that only people "living in a yurt in Outer Mongolia" were unaware of the show.) "I definitely wanted to hear 'Blank Space' performed live. The lyrics 'I could make a bad guy good for the weekend' are truly remarkable!"

Following his attendance at the July show held at Arrowhead Stadium, Kelce expressed his disappointment on his "New Heights" podcast, revealing that he felt "upset" about not being able to give Swift his phone number.

Kelce and Swift were already in contact, much to the delight of their fans. When asked about the details, Kelce initially remained coy, stating, "I don't know if I want to go into all of it." However, he did mention that there were people in Swift's circle who were aware of his presence and even played matchmaker.

Swift later reached out to Kelce.

“She told me exactly what was going on and how I got lucky enough to get her to reach out,” he recalled.

The public had their first look at what has been referred to as Swelce (or Traylor) when the pair made their debut appearance in New York City together. In early October, Kelce was captured on camera leaving Swift's apartment.

"When I first met her in New York, we had already been conversing, so I knew that we could enjoy a pleasant dinner and engage in a conversation. Whatever happens next would naturally unfold," Kelce elaborated. "Everyone around me advised me not to mess this up, and here I am, fully understanding their point."

The most difficult aspect of their blossoming relationship so far has been the challenge of falling in love with each other while constantly being observed by the public.

"I've never been with someone who has that kind of presence...I've never had to navigate through it," Kelce expressed in a recent interview. "But, I'm not avoiding any of it...She deals with intense scrutiny, with her every move being closely examined by the media. Paparazzi waiting outside her home, trailing her to restaurants, following her every time after she disembarks from a flight. Despite all that, she continues to live her life and enjoy it. When she handles it so gracefully, I can't afford to act strangely."

Swift and Kelce have continued to support each other despite the public's interest in their relationship. The singer has been seen attending Chiefs games to cheer on the tight end. Recently, Kelce traveled to South America to watch Swift perform on her Eras Tour and they confirmed their relationship with a kiss after the show. Kelce mentioned during a podcast episode that the experience was even more amazing because of his connection with Swift.
