Travis Kelce continues to handle the public scrutiny of his relationship with Taylor Swift with grace.
In the latest episode of their "New Heights" podcast, Travis Kelce and his older brother Jason Kelce discussed the NFL's Week 7 games. They started with the Kansas City Chiefs' impressive 31-17 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Jason brought up the viral analysis of Travis' game performance with Swift, as it was shown during the CBS broadcast on Sunday, October 22. However, Travis simply laughed off the comparison.
"Taylor's presence at the game proved to be beneficial, as they displayed your statistics both when she was present and when she was not. I'm not sure if you're already aware of this," Jason stated on the podcast. Travis responded with a quip, "How could I not be aware of this?"
Jason went on to share, "Your average yards per game when Taylor Swift is in attendance is 99. However, when you're left with only your friends and remaining family, it drops down to 46.5 yards per game."
Travis noted that he saw the graphic, which made a reference to lyrics from Swift’s 2022 single “Anti-Hero.” He teased, “‘Left to his own devices.’ Well put.”
Taylor Swift attended her fourth NFL game of the season on Sunday, supporting the tight end from a private suite at Arrowhead Stadium alongside Patrick Mahomes' wife, Brittany Mahomes. She sported a red Chiefs sweatshirt and a friendship bracelet with Travis' jersey number, 87. During the game, Swift and Matthews, 28, were seen celebrating a touchdown using a unique handshake.
In September, the pop star surprised both sports fans and Swifties by attending Travis' game against the Chicago Bears. This came after Travis publicly invited her to see him perform in Kansas City, where he aimed to impress her with his stage presence. The NFL viewership experienced a significant increase due to Swift's game day appearances, which the Kelce family has been open about. Recently, Jason and Travis had a discussion about whether the league was going too far with their constant coverage of their blossoming relationship.

"It's enjoyable to see who is attending the game as it adds to the overall atmosphere and enhances the viewing experience. However, there is a slight tendency to overdo it, especially in my case," Travis admitted on "New Heights," acknowledging that the NFL is simply trying to make the most out of the moment and have a fun approach.
Jason chimed in, expressing that he believes the NFL is not accustomed to having celebrities attend their games, especially when compared to the NBA. "Basketball seems to have a better grasp on this," he argued.
In an October 4 statement, the NFL justified its tactics by stating that the news of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce was a significant moment that merged sport and entertainment. They expressed their satisfaction with the overwhelmingly positive response towards the sport. Following the game on Sunday, Swift and Travis were seen celebrating together, sharing intimate moments and displaying affection in photos captured by Chariah Gordon, the girlfriend of Chiefs star Mecole Hardman Jr. In one snapshot, Swift affectionately kissed Travis on the cheek while resting her hand on his chest.
