Chelsea Women have officially announced the acquisition of Ashley Lawrence. The Canadian defender is set to join the team from Paris Saint-Germain on July 1st. The 28-year-old has committed to a three-year contract, keeping her at Chelsea until the summer of 2026.

Lawrence transitions from Paris to London following the conclusion of her tenure with the Parisians in France's Division 1 Feminine season, which lasted for six years.

Having joined PSG in 2017, Lawrence showcased her skills in 180 matches and possesses the versatility to excel on either the right or left side of the defense.
