Chelsea have turned down Manchester United's latest offer of £55m for midfielder Mason Mount. In response, Chelsea have put forward a counter-proposal of £58m plus an additional £7m. They have also offered to arrange a meeting with Manchester United to discuss and hopefully reach a mutually beneficial agreement.

England international Mount has one year left on his existing contract at Stamford Bridge and is understood to be keen on a move to Erik ten Hag's side.
