Harriet has a Critics' Score of 74% on Rotten Tomatoes, but its Audience Score is nearly perfect at 97%. This could be the reason for its success on the streaming platform.

Netflix gives the following description of the movie: "Harriet Tubman's journey from slavery to freedom and her courageous efforts to help others escape through the Underground Railroad are depicted in this biographical film."

Other movies currently on the chart, including the superhero animated film Across the Spider-Verse and David Fincher's latest picture The Killer, are still attracting attention. However, with Christmas approaching, Netflix's newest holiday movie, titled Best. Christmas. Ever!, has taken the top spot on the chart since its debut last weekend.
