Tony Romo is apparently ready for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift to get married.
During the CBS broadcast of the Sunday, December 10 game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills, Romo noticed the 33-year-old singer cheering on Kelce from a box in Arrowhead Stadium. "As you can see, Kelce's girlfriend, Taylor Swift, is in the audience," Romo, 43, mentioned to the viewers.
The former Dallas Cowboys quarterback chuckled at his error. "I apologize, I meant girlfriend," he corrected himself.
"Not yet," fellow commentator Jim Nantz chimed in. Moments later, Nantz quipped, "Do you have inside information that we don't know about?"
Excited Swifties quickly turned to social media to share their delight, with one user exclaiming, "I screamed when Tony Romo called Taylor Travis' wife!" Another user jokingly commented, "Tony Romo just officiated the marriage of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce on live television!"
Another person chimed in, "Hey Tony Romo, hold your horses, they're not getting married just yet!"
Swift attended her sixth Chiefs game of the season on Sunday, following her last appearance at Kelce's game against the Green Bay Packers on December 3. It was the first time the team lost while she was there.
Shortly after Swift publicly discussed her relationship with the tight end, the Chiefs played against the Buffalo Bills. She revealed that they were already in a committed relationship when she attended her first game in September. "Travis very adorably put me on blast on his podcast, which I thought was metal as hell," she shared in her TIME Person of the Year profile, recalling when Kelce expressed regret for not having met her at the Eras Tour in July.

She added, "We started spending time together right after that. So we had a significant amount of time to ourselves, which I'm thankful for because we were able to really get to know each other. By the time I attended that first game, we were already a couple. I think some people might have mistaken that game for our first date. But we would never be crazy enough to make our first date so public."
Swift mentioned that she will continue to attend football games when she can to support her boyfriend. "When you say a relationship is public, that means I'll be there to watch him do what he loves, we'll show up for each other, other people will be there, and we won't mind," she said.
