In episode 5, Takemichi exposes Mucho as the traitor to Mikey and Draken in the anime. In response, Mikey urgently calls for a meeting before their upcoming confrontation with Tenjiku. Hakkai Shiba rushes to the meeting, breathless, and proceeds to inform everyone that Mitsuya and Smiley were attacked by Tenjiku members wielding rods while on their bikes.

He reveals that Tenjiku has been resorting to covert tactics and suggests that Mikey should allow their gang to retaliate using weapons such as iron rods.
