A quick recap of Tokyo Revengers season 3 episode 1
In the first episode of the third season, Takemichi Hanagaki goes back in time to 2005 in order to rescue his girlfriend Hinata Tachibana and his friends from a life-threatening situation. During his journey, he encounters Naoto Tachibana, Hinata's younger brother, and together they discover that the Tenjiku gang plans to launch an attack on the Tokyo Manji Gang.
Takemichi attempts to persuade Mikey Sano, the head of the Tokyo Manji Gang, to get ready for the impending attack, but Mikey remains uninterested. Eventually, Takemichi meets with Izana Kurokawa, the leader of the Tenjiku gang, and discovers that Izana holds a personal grudge against Mikey.
Despite Takemichi's attempts to reason with Izana, Izana is unwavering in his determination to annihilate the Tokyo Manji Gang. The episode concludes with Takemichi returning to the present, only to discover that the Tokyo Manji Gang has been obliterated and Mikey has vanished.
