Tina Knowles, the mother of Beyoncé, praised Kelly Rowland for gracefully moving on from a security incident at the Cannes Film Festival.
Knowles, 70, took to Instagram on Thursday, May 23, to share a video of Rowland, 43, shining on the red carpet while chatting with Evan Ross and Joe Jonas. She captioned the post, "And just like that, she @kellyrowland graces another carpet with her amazing glorious beauty, class, and grace!"
Rowland went viral on Tuesday, May 21, when she attended the festival premiere of Marcello Mio. While the singer was guided up the stairs, she seemingly scolded a security official at her side, pointing her finger in their direction.
She continued, “Sipping Champagne and living her best life. This just goes to show that one silly monkey, don’t stop no-show!!! In to bigger and and better things️️️️️️.”
Rowland made it clear to the Associated Press that both he and the woman are aware of what occurred. He emphasized his boundaries and reiterated his commitment to them.

According to Rowland, there were other women who attended the premiere that “did not quite look like [her].”
"She added that they weren't scolded, pushed off, or told to leave. I stood firm, and she felt the need to do the same. But I stood my ground."
Rowland and Knowles have a long-standing connection. Beyoncé, who is 42 years old, starred alongside Rowland in the girl group Destiny's Child. The group also included Michelle Williams, and they all wore many iconic outfits designed by Knowles for red carpet events and music videos.

Beyoncé shared with The New York Times in 2017 that her mother has always been passionate about helping women feel beautiful. She mentioned how her mother would either work on someone's hair in her salon chair or create a prom dress for a girl from their church.
Tina, who is the mother of Beyoncé and Solange with her ex-husband Mathew Knowles, also mentioned to the outlet that looking back, the outfits worn by Destiny's Child seemed quite extravagant.
Knowles told The Times that people were always intrigued by what Destiny's Child would wear next, even though they sometimes looked a bit crazy.
Destiny's Child was established in 1990, with members including LeToya Luckett, LaTavia Roberson, and Farrah Franklin at different points. The group took a break in 2001 to focus on solo projects but came together again informally last year to celebrate Beyoncé's Renaissance tour and documentary.
