Dancing with the Stars contestants dazzled in their best Taylor Swift-inspired looks on the November 21st episode, showcasing a stunning array of styles and talent

Taylor Swift fever is taking the nation by storm this year, and it has even reached Dancing With the Stars. The show fully embraced Swift's impact on November 21 with a special "Taylor Swift Night." Each of the remaining couples performed to some of the pop star's biggest hits and wore Swift-inspired outfits.

Only six couples remain in the competition: Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov, Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy, Harry Jowsey and Rylee Arnold, Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber, Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev, and Jason Mraz and Daniella Karagach. Both judges and viewers were closely observing every detail of their performances.

Even the previously eliminated professional dancers joined in the fun, dressing up in looks inspired by their favorite Taylor Swift era. While not all contestants shared the same excitement for Swift, ABC exec Robert Mills caused a stir by suggesting that Swifties were to blame for Jowsey's elimination. Nonetheless, others were delighted to pay homage to the Grammy winner.

These Taylor Swift-Inspired Looks From ‘DWTS’ Will Never Go Out of Style

Taylor Swift has taken the nation by storm this year, and even Dancing With the Stars has felt the impact. On Tuesday, November 21, the ballroom dance competition dedicated the entire night to Swift, with the remaining couples performing to her biggest hits and dressed in Swift-inspired outfits.

With only six couples remaining in the competition, the judges and viewers were closely scrutinizing every detail. Among the remaining pairs were Ariana Madix and Pasha Pashkov, Xochitl Gomez and Val Chmerkovskiy, Harry Jowsey and Rylee Arnold, Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber, Charity Lawson and Artem Chigvintsev, and Jason Mraz and Daniella Karagach. Even the previously eliminated pros got in on the fun, sporting looks inspired by their favorite Taylor Swift era. While not every contestant shared the same enthusiasm for Swift, ABC exec Robert Mills caused controversy by suggesting that Swifties were responsible for Jowsey's elimination. Nonetheless, many participants were thrilled to pay homage to the Grammy winner.

Alyson Hannigan and Sasha Farber

Hannigan, the biggest Swiftie in the competition, set a goal for the season to stay long enough to pay tribute to her favorite artist. Throughout rehearsals, she wore her Eras Tour merchandise and exchanged friendship bracelets as a show of dedication.

During her performance of "You Belong With Me," Hannigan donned a gold fringe dress reminiscent of Taylor Swift's Fearless era. To honor the song's iconic music video, which was famously interrupted by Kanye West at the 2009 MTV VMAs, Hannigan completed her look with glasses and handwritten signs, one of which humorously read "I love you (in a comedic way)."

Julianne Hough

The former Dancing With The Stars professional, now turned cohost, Hough looked stunning in a Midnight-inspired hooded jumpsuit, taking inspiration from Swift's ensemble at the 2023 iHeartRadio Awards. Throughout the night, Hough charmed the audience with song title puns, humorously telling contestants "Don't Blame Me" as the show went to commercial break before revealing their scores.

Emma Slater and Alan Bersten

Formerly ousted contestants Slater and Bernsten understand the struggle of exiting the competition, expressing their sorrow through outfits inspired by the Red (Taylor’s Version) album cover and the All Too Well short film.

Slater sported a trench coat, a red cap over her blonde curls, similar to the one Swift wears on the album’s cover shoot, and added a red scarf for extra flair. Meanwhile, Bersten opted for attire reminiscent of Dylan O’Brien’s character from the short film, believed to be influenced by Swift’s ex Jake Gyllenhaal.

Gleb Savchenko

Savchenko may no longer be competing with celeb partner Mira Sorvino, but he was still excited to embrace the Swift spirit. He was spotted in the ballroom’s sky box wearing a limited edition 1989 (Taylor’s Version) cardigan. Though his time on screen was short, dedicated Swifties can recognize that shade of blue from anywhere.

Brandon Armstrong

Sharp-eyed Swifties will notice Armstrong’s tennis attire from Swift’s “The Man” music video, where she takes on a male persona to confront misogynistic critique. Emulating Swift’s male character in the video, who becomes upset after a tennis match defeat, Armstrong sported a full white tennis outfit. Fortunately, Armstrong is a good sport in real life, as he remains supportive of his DWTS colleagues even after being eliminated alongside partner Lele Pons earlier this month.
