Tia Mowry, who recently concluded her divorce from Cory Hardrict, is eagerly embracing a new phase in her life and is excited to reenter the dating scene. She admits that dating has been more challenging than she initially anticipated, considering she has never dated before. However, despite any difficulties, Mowry maintains an optimistic outlook and focuses on living in the present moment.
While Mowry is open to meeting someone new, she is puzzled by the overwhelming interest from fans regarding updates on her love life. "I have chosen to keep it private. You all will just have to speculate and keep speculating," she joked. "I won't be saying anything."
The former Sister, Sister star announced her separation from Hardrict, aged 44, in October 2022 after being married for 14 years. Mowry filed for divorce one week later, and the legal process concluded in April. Mowry and Hardrict now share joint custody of their 12-year-old son Cree and 5-year-old daughter Cairo.
“It’s important to consider everything from not only your own perspective, but also from the kids' perspective,” she explained to Us in regards to coparenting with Hardrict. “I believe that when children become the priority, we should focus on their peace, joy, happiness, and what makes them feel comfortable and loved. Love and compassion are guiding principles for me. I genuinely believe that if we approach life with love and compassion, everything will fall into place as it should.”

Cree and Cairo continue to be Mowry's primary focus, but she has also dedicated herself to personal development. "At the moment, I genuinely believe I'm embarking on a new chapter," she shared with Us on Thursday. "I am fully present, embracing the present instead of dwelling on the past or worrying about the future. This mindful approach has brought me immense joy."
Mowry is also dedicating more time to being with her children, and this mindset will continue during the holiday season with a planned trip to Thailand. "It'll be my first time there, and I'm thrilled to be taking my children along," Mowry expressed with excitement. "I believe that exposing them to different cultures is extremely valuable, and creating beautiful memories together is just as important. I chose Thailand because I believe it will bring me a sense of healing, and I can't wait for the experience."
Mowry, known for her festive traditions like matching pajamas and homemade cookies, has teamed up with JCPenny's "Make It Count" report on holiday hosting tips to launch the "Penny Prepper" challenge. In this social media challenge, holiday hosts will share their top festive tricks that cost under $300, and consumers can vote for their favorites. Mowry shared, "JCPenney has been my go-to this holiday season. I consider myself a 'penny prepper,' someone who loves to prepare in advance to avoid stress and fully enjoy the festivities with family and friends."
Mowry especially appreciates JCPenney's ability to provide "high quality" products at affordable prices. She expressed her enjoyment of the partnership.
