Tia Mowry and her ex-husband, Cory Hardrict, have established clear guidelines for introducing their two children to prospective partners, as stated in recently acquired court documents. The former couple, aged 44 and 43 respectively, have agreed upon specific conditions as to when their children, Cree (11) and Cairo (5), will be introduced to any potential new romantic interests.

“Unless otherwise agreed, both parties are prohibited from introducing their minor children to a new romantic partner until they have been in an exclusive relationship with that partner for a minimum of six months,” states the court documents. “Furthermore, during the initial six months of the exclusive relationship, neither party is allowed to allow their new romantic partner to spend nights with the children while they are in the custody of the parent.”

The couple, who recently completed their divorce, have come to an agreement in the best interest of their children, Cree and Cairo. The documents specify the division of marital assets and state that neither party will be providing child support to the other. Instead, they have decided to individually cover the tuition expenses for each child, with Mowry taking care of Cairo's educational funds and Hardrict covering Cree's.

Mowry revealed in October 2022 that she had ended her 14-year marriage with the All-American: Homecoming star. She officially filed for divorce less than a week later.

Reflecting on the experience, Mowry shared, "It was a challenging journey. I often confided in my inner circle, emphasizing that this is not a decision to be taken lightly. It was incredibly tough." She went on to explain, "I believe that by focusing on personal growth, self-love, and recognizing one's self-worth, the decision becomes clearer. However, that doesn't mean it's any less difficult. There are countless factors to consider."

Since their divorce was finalized in April, Mowry and Hardrict have made it a priority to co-parent their two children and have agreed to share joint physical custody.

Everything I have to say is wonderful. There are good days and bad days, but the good days definitely outweigh the bad. The kids are thriving and happy. Cory and I are doing exceptionally well. We communicate daily and express our love for each other every day. He is family and will always be a part of our lives.
