Preston leads Championship with thrilling comeback; Ipswich secures 4th away win; Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday draw In League One, Burton shocks Port Vale, Portsmouth triumphs over Barnsley, and Peterborough defeats Cheltenham

Milutin Osmajic made a noteworthy debut in English football as his goal propelled Preston, the current leaders of the Championship, to a remarkable 2-1 comeback victory against Birmingham.

Preston's unbeaten start to the season was in jeopardy when Jay Stansfield scored just a minute into the second half. However, the table-toppers quickly equalized in the 51st minute when Krystian Bielik unintentionally headed the ball into his own net.

Preston continued their winning streak with their sixth victory in seven games, courtesy of Osmajic's calm finish from close range in the 67th minute.

QPR managed to salvage a point in a 1-1 draw with Swansea, thanks to Lyndon Dykes' goal in stoppage time.

A goal from Chelsea loanee Omari Hutchinson secured a 1-0 victory for Kieran McKenna's Ipswich team against Southampton, marking Hutchinson's first goal for Ipswich.

The Tractor Boys have climbed to the second position after securing victories in four consecutive away games in the second tier, accomplishing this feat for the first time in eight years. On the other hand, the Saints have faced defeat in their previous three matches. In a 3-2 victory against Coventry, Dimitrios Goutas and Karlan Grant both scored their debut goals for Cardiff.

In a surprising turn of events, Barnsley suffered a home defeat against Portsmouth, who achieved the same scoreline. Portsmouth began the match with a dream start, as Colby Bishop converted a penalty in the eighth minute. This was quickly followed by a goal from Paddy Lane. With just 16 minutes on the clock, Connor Ogilvie's header extended Portsmouth's lead to 3-0.

Barry Cotter managed to decrease the deficit for the Tykes shortly after the start of the second half, with Callum Styles later scoring a header for a second goal. However, despite their efforts, the comeback proved to be unsuccessful.

It took Peterborough some time, but they eventually secured a 3-0 victory over the struggling Cheltenham team. Cheltenham finished the match with only nine players at London Road.

James Olayinka saw a red card within the first five minutes, yet the away team managed to hold their ground until the 54th minute. It was then that Harrison Burrows finally managed to break the stalemate.

In the 60th minute, Jonson Clarke-Harris scored a second goal. Following a late second yellow card for Nathan Butler-Oyedeji, who was subsequently sent off, Peter Kioso sealed the victory with a goal during stoppage time.
