Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins: Love, Laughter, and 11 Years of Blissful Matrimony
Country singer Thomas Rhett showers his wife, Lauren Akins, with heartfelt words on their 11th wedding anniversary, expressing eternal gratitude to her and their enduring love

Thomas Rhett celebrated his 11th wedding anniversary with his wife, Lauren Akins, living out the lyrics of his 2022 hit song "Praise the Lord." The country star, 33, expressed his gratitude to God for his wife and shared three Instagram photos of their loving embrace, along with a heartfelt message.
Reflecting on their relationship, which started during their preteen years, Rhett expressed his awe for his incredible wife. "Being married to this remarkable woman for 11 years is truly amazing," he reminisced. "I can vividly recall how she appeared back in first grade, as well as how much taller she was than me during our time at church camp in the 6th grade."
Rhett and Akins tied the knot at the age of 22, six years after their initial date.
"I distinctly recall picking her up for our very first date at 16. The speed at which my heart raced as she gracefully descended the aisle still remains vivid in my memory," he stated in his caption.

Five years after their wedding, Rhett and Akins announced in 2017 that they were adopting a baby girl from Uganda, Willa Gray, now 7.
Akins has also given birth to three daughters: Ada James, 6, Lennon Love, 3, and Lillie Carolina, 23 months.
As Rhett Akins looks back at knowing Akins for over 25 years, he has many fond memories.
The couple's anniversary received congratulations from stars such as Cole Swindell and Lady A's Charles Kelley.
Akins posted a heartfelt Instagram tribute, featuring family photos of their four daughters. She captioned the post, "Celebrating 11 years with you! Happy anniversary, my love."
In terms of his career, Rhett is excited about what the future holds. Just a day before their anniversary, it was officially revealed that he will be one of the headliners at the 2024 Country Jam Colorado music festival. The three-day event, taking place from June 20-22 in Mack, Colorado, will also feature Parker McCollum and Jelly Roll as headliners.
