In a heartfelt message shared on Instagram on Tuesday, April 23, the 70-year-old expressed how gardening has brought immense joy to her life. She emphasized how it not only nourishes her body, mind, and soul, but also provides a multitude of benefits.

Theresa highlighted the therapeutic nature of gardening, stating that being outdoors, whether under the sun or clouds, and getting your hands dirty can do wonders for your well-being. She encouraged others to engage in this fulfilling activity, emphasizing the physical exercise it provides through tasks like pushing a wheelbarrow, weeding, watering plants, and simply walking around. "But, as I've learned, even at 70, there are still surprises in store. Sometimes, things just don't go as planned, and that's perfectly fine."

Theresa and Gerry made the announcement of their decision to divorce on April 12, just three months after their televised wedding ceremony.

Gerry, 72, shared on Good Morning America that he and Theresa had many deep conversations. They carefully examined their living arrangements and both agreed that it was time to end their marriage.

Later that day, it was revealed that Gerry had filed for divorce in Petersburg, Indiana. He stated that the reason for the split was the irreparable breakdown of their marriage.
