Here is all the information we have about the final role that Korean singer Sulli filmed before her tragic death, which will soon be released on Netflix.

Sulli was widely recognized for her exceptional singing talent and performances on screen throughout her career. Since 2005, she has featured in numerous K-dramas and movies, such as Ballad of Seodong, Oh! My Lady, To The Beautiful You, and even made a cameo appearance in Hotel Del Luna. She was also a member of the girl group f(x) until she decided to pursue a solo career in 2015.

The singer and actor, Sulli, was discovered deceased in her residence in mid-October 2019 by her brother/manager. Prior to her passing, she had completed her final on-screen appearances in a short film and the second season of Netflix's anthology series, Persona. The Netflix production, Persona: Sulli, is divided into two segments. The first showcases her role in the short film, while the second features her last in-depth interview conducted for a documentary highlighting her career.

Persona: Sulli will begin with the short film

Before her death, Sulli was the main character in a short film titled 4: Clean Island about a young woman who dreams of moving to an island.

In the short film "Clean Island", Sulli takes on the role of 4, a character longing to start afresh on Clean Island, renowned for its pristine environment. However, before gaining entry, she must divulge her transgressions to a pig stationed at the checkpoint. "Clean Island" is directed by Hwang Soo-ah and Kim Ji-hye, and features notable performances from Hwang Mi-young and Park Gabi.

Persona: Sulli’s second half is titled Dear Jinri, a documentary that dives into Sulli’s life since childhood and is titled after her birth name Choi Jin-ri.

The film chronicles her transition from a child star to her adult career and was first showcased at the Busan International Film Festival.

Dear Jinri is sure to evoke poignant emotions as it features Sulli's final interviews prior to her untimely passing. Yahoo reported that Sulli had completed filming before her death.

Persona: Sulli is set to premiere on Netflix on November 13.
