Spencer Pratt wholeheartedly supports Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship, or more specifically, the recent trend of Swift attending NFL games. The 40-year-old Pratt posted a video of himself watching the Kansas City Chiefs versus New York Jets game on Sunday, October 1. While the game itself didn't capture his attention, he was more focused on Swift's arrival at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
On Sunday, Pratt took to Instagram to share a video of himself proudly showing off his Eras Tour merchandise, with Taylor Swift in the background greeting other fans in the box seats before the game. This was Swift's second consecutive week watching Kelce play, after she traveled to Missouri for his game at Arrowhead Stadium on September 24. During that game, she sat in a box with Kelce's mom, Donna Kelce, and witnessed the Chiefs' victorious match against the Chicago Bears, with Kelce and quarterback Patrick Mahomes leading the team to victory.
Swift arrived at MetLife with a group of people including Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, Sophie Turner, and Sabrina Carpenter. During the event, she also had a reunion with Donna, who shared a warm hug with Swift at one point.
The rumors of a romantic relationship between Travis and Swift began in September. However, Travis had already expressed his admiration for Swift's music long before that. He even attended one of her concerts at Arrowhead Stadium in July and made a friendship bracelet for her, which had his number on it, though he didn't have the chance to give it to her.
During a July episode of his "New Heights" podcast, he reminisced about how he took it personally when she refused to meet him, or at least that's how it felt. However, he couldn't deny that it was an incredible show. The people of Kansas City really showed their support, as everyone was dressed in pink and purple and going wild for her.
On Pratt's side, he has been a dedicated fan of Swift for a long time. Back in 2018, he had the opportunity to meet the pop star while attending her Reputation Stadium Tour. Swift even held his oldest son, Gunner, who is now 6 years old. Pratt shares Gunner and his 10-month-old son Ryker with his wife, Heidi Montag.
Pratt expressed his only concern about the entire experience: it has come to an end. He compared the world to a Taylor Swift concert and suggested that if the world resembled that atmosphere, wars might cease to exist. Without intending to criticize anyone, Pratt mentioned that there is no need to consume drugs and venture into the desert for Burning Man. Instead, one can enjoy a skinny margarita and attend a Taylor Swift show. He stated that if someone is looking for an intense experience, they do not need to overdose at Electric Daisy Carnival. Simply wearing one of Taylor's wristbands and immersing oneself in the crowd would be enough.
Talking about the Eras Tour, Pratt praised it as more than just a concert. He and Montag witnessed it in August at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and he described it as life-changing, becoming emotional while discussing it on his podcast "Speidi's 16th Minute."
