In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players can embark on nearly 200 side quests. While some quests are more complex than others, completing them often leads to valuable rewards such as meals or even Rupees. Among the initial quests players may encounter is "The Incomplete Stable," located at Lookout Landing. This quest becomes available after players complete the tutorial shrines on the Great Sky Island.
At Lookout Landing, an NPC named Karson has been attempting to construct a stable. However, there is a problem with completing the roof, which is crucial for protecting the horses from rain and lightning. Until the roof is fixed, Lester cannot house any horses in the mini-stable. Therefore, it falls upon Link to carefully position the final roof plank and solve this predicament.
The Incomplete Stable in TotK
To start the Incomplete Stable side quest, players should approach the NPCs located near the southern entrance of Lookout Landing, specifically at the coordinates -0253, 0058, 0019. Lester and Karson can be found observing the incomplete stable.
Upon closer inspection, a pile of hay and a piece of wood can be seen behind the horses. To proceed, players must hold down the L button on the Nintendo Switch controller and utilize the right control stick to activate Link's Ultrahand ability. By pressing A, the piece of wood can be picked up. It should then be aligned with the gap on the stable's roof and placed down to fix it. This action triggers a cutscene, signifying the completion of the side quest.

What's a Mini Stable?
While the mini stable in Tears of the Kingdom does not provide the extensive range of services available in a regular, full-sized stable, players can still utilize it for horse registration, boarding, and retrieval. Unfortunately, exchanging Pony Points for rewards is not an option, but players can earn a point by engaging in conversation with Lester.
After completing The Incomplete Stable quest, players have the opportunity to embark on another side quest by speaking to Lester once again. For the Spotting Spot quest, players can refer to our comprehensive guide. However, they will have to locate a particular horse situated south of Lookout Landing and escort it back to Lester. Upon successful completion of the quest, players will be rewarded with 50 Rupees, a Swift Carrot, and the horse Spot itself. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom can be enjoyed on the Nintendo Switch platform.
