In Genshin Impact, there are elemental gems available for each specific element that are used to enhance characters who possess a corresponding Vision. Nagadus Emerald is the essential elemental gem needed for Dendro characters.

Similar to other elemental gems, Nagadus Emerald is obtainable in four different qualities. These qualities, in increasing order, include Slivers, Fragments, Chunks, and finally, Gemstones. There are several methods through which these gems can be acquired, and we will provide a detailed outline of these methods below.

Which Characters Use Nagadus Emerald in Genshin Impact

Most Dendro characters, as of now, are from Sumeru, though there are a few from other regions. The element only became playable when Sumeru was released.

Defeating bosses is the most efficient method for gathering a substantial quantity of elemental gems, including Nagadus Emerald. Currently, only two regular bosses have the ability to reward the Dendro gem.

There are some additional methods for earning Nagadus Emerald other than fighting bosses, though these aren't always as reliable.

Daily Commissions

Every day, players are awarded four daily commissions by the Adventurers' Guild. Once all four are finished, they can visit any branch to acquire additional bonuses from Katheryne.

These bonuses usually consist of elemental gem Slivers. Regrettably, the specific Slivers received are chosen randomly and are of the lowest quality. However, players should still prioritize completing their daily commissions for the Primogems, making the elemental Slivers an added free perk.

Crafting

By heading over to and using a crafting bench, players can upgrade lower-quality gems into higher quality levels. This works at a 3:1 ratio, as follows:

To upgrade lower-level gems and change their elements, players can utilize a crafting bench. In addition to improving gem quality, the crafting bench enables the conversion of gems from one element to another. To perform this conversion, players must acquire Dust of Azoth, which is obtainable through Paimon's Bargains.

The following amount of Dust of Azoth is required to convert gems of each level to a different element:

Nagadus Emerald can be created from Varunada Lazurite, Vajrada Amethyst, Vayuda Turquoise, Shivada Jade, Prithiva Topaz, or Agnidus Agate.
