The Counting House Vault
In Baldur's Gate 3's Act 3, players have the opportunity to recruit an iconic Baldur's Gate hero, Minsc. This legendary character, known for his sheer size and lack of intelligence, brings not only his heroic past from previous games but also his beloved miniature giant space hamster. To add Minsc to their party, players must embark on a series of quest steps that ultimately lead them to a counting house. Upon reaching the depths of the vault, they will come across a locked door requiring a specific code to unlock it.
In Act 3, if players have managed to keep Jaheira, the Harper druid, alive and in their party, she will eventually approach players for help in rescuing her old friend, Minsc. Minsc has been petrified for a century, and Jaheira is desperate to find a way to restore him. Players will have the opportunity to locate Minsc by following the trail of the Nine-Fingers to the counting house. Surprisingly, Minsc appears to be robbing the bank, but in order to convince him to join the player's party, you must first gain access to the vault (x:949, y:782).
Counting House Vault Code
Upon entering the vault, players will discover that the door is securely locked. Positioned above the door are four illuminating lights. Directly in front of the entrance, a plaque indicates that the code must be obtained from the Head Banker's Office, which is situated on the heavily guarded second floor. To avoid the need for a stealthy approach with a character like Astarion, who possesses rogue-like skills, players have the option to either forcibly crack the password or consult the information provided below.
To activate the code buttons, players need to separate one member from their party and utilize them. This ensures that the remaining companions in Baldur's Gate 3 do not inadvertently interact with the buttons on the ground. Next, follow this specific sequence to press the four buttons:
Upper left button
Upper right button
Middle button
Middle right button
After unlocking the bank vault in Baldur's Gate 3, players can freely enter. However, they should be prepared for a challenging battle inside as there are multiple enemies who have the ability to turn invisible. To ensure a smoother experience, players are advised to make necessary preparations beforehand.
