Halo Infinite Season 5 is set to be the most content-rich season yet, starting with a refined and reworked Battle Pass. Instead of the usual 100 tiers, the Battle Pass will now have 50 tiers, but with higher quality rewards. Fans have already had a glimpse of the Flood-themed cosmetics and Master Chief's Halo Infinite armor. Additionally, players can earn 1000 Halo Credits throughout the Battle Pass, which can be used to purchase the next season.

The upcoming Halo Infinite Season is also making changes to the free Battle Pass tiers. Previously, players without the Premium Battle Pass had to reach the end of the 100-tier pass to earn all the free items. However, in Season 5, the Battle Pass will offer 20 free tiers right from the start, allowing players to unlock those rewards immediately. They can then choose to upgrade and earn the remaining 30 tiers.

Halo Infinite Season 5 will feature two new events called Operations, taking place in November and December. These limited-time events will offer players the opportunity to unlock unique cosmetic rewards over a span of 4-to-6 weeks. Additionally, Season 5 will introduce the exciting ability to mix and match different styles of Spartan armor by allowing any helmet to be used with any armor core.

With the Season 5 update, Halo Infinite will bring back two beloved game modes from past Halo games. The first mode, Extraction, made its debut in Halo 4. In Extraction, players must defend an objective until it is extracted and then repeat the process at different locations on the map. The second mode, Firefight King of the Hill, will be added to the game approximately halfway through the Season.

Halo Infinite's Season 5 update brings two new maps, Forbidden and Prism, which are exciting additions to the franchise. These maps have never been seen in any previous Halo game. Forbidden offers a traditional symmetrical layout, while Prism takes players to the explosive ammo mines of the Needler, allowing them to shoot deposits that act as environmental hazards. Additionally, Season 5 introduces the highly anticipated AI toolkit for Forge, enabling players to deploy AI enemies and allies during gameplay.

Halo Infinite is currently accessible on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
