Where to Find SalanditHow to Evolve Salandit into Salazzle
Fastest Way to Obtain Salandit Candies
In Pokemon GO, leveling up and gaining experience for your Pokemon functions differently compared to the mainline games. Instead, players can enhance their Pokemon's strength by utilizing Stardust and Candy. Moreover, candy is also essential for the evolution process of Pokemon in GO. It's worth noting that any Pokemon capable of evolving in the mainline games can also evolve in GO, although certain species have gender-specific evolution.
Where to Find Salandit
Salandit, an eighth generation Pokemon, possesses a formidable Poison/Fire typing. Similar to many other Pokemon, it can evolve through leveling up. However, obtaining a Salandit in Pokemon GO can be quite challenging, and acquiring its evolved form, Salazzle, can be even more time-consuming.
Salandit can be obtained by hatching Strange Eggs, which are acquired after defeating a Team GO Rocket Leader or Giovanni. Trainers in Pokemon GO have the capacity to store up to 3 Strange Eggs in the Bonus Storage. These particular Eggs need a distance of 12km to hatch.
How to Find Team GO Rocket Leaders
Salandit has a hatch rate of 2/5 Eggs, which means it is a common Pokémon. However, it is not as common as Pokémon like Salandit, Pawniard, Vullaby, and Pancham. In order for the eggs to hatch, they need to be placed in either an Egg Incubator or a Super Incubator. It is important to note that incubators will break after being used three times, but players will always receive one permanent Egg Incubator.
To battle a Team GO Rocket Leader, players must collect six Mysterious Components and create a Rocket Radar. The upcoming encounter will feature either Arlo, Cliff, or Sierra. Their teams will consist of formidable Shadow Pokemon that will employ Protect Shields to block the player's initial two Charge Moves.
To confront Giovanni, players will require a Super Rocket Radar, which is exclusively obtained through Team GO Rocket Special Research quests. Giovanni will always possess a Legendary Pokemon on his team, providing players with a chance to capture it if they emerge victorious.
How to Get More Egg Incubtors
Egg Incubators can be given as reward for certain Special Research tasks or reaching certain Trainer Levels. Players will get Incubators at the following levels:
Level 6
Level 10
Level 15
Level 20
Level 25
Level 30
Level 35
Level 40-50
You can acquire Incubators in another way by purchasing them from the in-game shop. One Incubator costs 150 Coins, while a Super Incubator costs 200 Coins. Additionally, there might be a limited-time offer where you can obtain multiple Egg Incubators in a gift box. The Voyager Box, priced at 1750 Coins, includes 40 Ultraballs, 8 Super Incubators, and 10 Egg Incubators.
If you place a Strange Egg (12km) in a Super Incubator, the hatch distance will be halved. Keep an eye out for in-game events that can also reduce the hatch distance. To check for events, tap the Binoculars icon and select the Today tab. Scroll down past the Timed Research to see a list of daily and/or monthly events.
How to Evolve Salandit into Salazzle
To evolve Salandit into Salazzle, 50 Salandit Candy is required, but only if the Salandit is female. Unfortunately, finding a female Salandit is quite challenging due to the male-to-female gender ratio of 7:1. This rarity is comparable to acquiring a female Starter Pokemon, like Bulbasaur. Therefore, players may need to hatch numerous Strange Eggs before obtaining a female Salandit.
Players can determine the gender of a Salandit by observing the symbol next to its name. Additionally, a male Salandit will lack the Evolution button.
How to Get Salandit Candies Fast
To efficiently obtain Salandit Candies, players can focus on hatching Strange Eggs until they can catch Salandit in the wild. Team GO Rocket Grunts can be encountered in various locations, allowing players to quickly acquire a Rocket Radar.
Each Salandit obtained from a Strange Egg yields 16-32 Candy, which can be further boosted by daily events. Taking advantage of this timeframe is an effective method for obtaining Candy from Pokemon exclusive to Eggs.
Players will receive 1 Salandit Candy for every 3km they walk when Salandit is chosen as their Buddy Pokemon. Using a Poffin will reduce the amount of distance required to obtain Candy, but Poffins are rare and only last for 6 hours. Therefore, it is advisable to use Poffins on Salandit when Pokemon GO trainers have spare time available.
Furthermore, as male Salandit cannot evolve, players have the option to Transfer it to the professor. Each time a Pokemon is Transferred, 1 Candy is awarded. Occasionally, Transferring a Pokemon during special events or holidays may result in receiving double the amount of Candy.
Pokemon GO is available for mobile devices.
