As Genshin Impact's Spiral Abyss becomes increasingly challenging with each update, many players opt to rely on meta team compositions to conquer the end-game difficulty. One of the most formidable team compositions in the game is the Morgana, while the Hu Tao Vaporize remains a popular choice. As more characters become available, the meta evolves, with the recent addition of Dendro in version 3.0. However, Dendro and Anemo do not synergize well, leading to less frequent pairing for Elemental reactions. Nevertheless, Swirl remains a potent reaction, exemplified by the Sukokomon team composition in Genshin Impact.
What Is The Sukokomon Team Composition In Genshin Impact?
To create a Swirl chaos in Genshin Impact's Sukokomon team comp, players must utilize a combination of Hydro, Electro, and Pyro elements. By deploying all three enablers and using an Anemo character to Swirl them together, players can trigger a chain reaction of Hydro/Electro/Pyro Swirl, Electro-charged, Overloaded, and Vaporize effects.
Sukokomon Team Comp Characters
Initially, the Sukokomon team was made up of Kokomi, Fischl, Xiangling, and Sucrose. However, with the introduction of more off-field enablers and on-field drivers, players now have the flexibility to incorporate other characters into their team while still utilizing the Swirl-chaos strategy.
Anemo Swirl
Hydro Enabler
While Sucrose is the original Anemo driver for the Sukokomon team comp in Genshin Impact, players now have the option to utilize other units such as Shikanoin Heizou or Wanderer. Both characters possess the Anemo-Catalyst trait like Sucrose, but each also has their own unique attributes. In terms of DPS, Wanderer is the most optimal choice for this position due to their high scaling and ability to effectively deal out Anemo DMG in a decent AoE. However, it is important to also consider Sucrose's ability to provide a substantial Elemental Mastery bonus, as Sukokomon heavily relies on Elemental Reactions.
While Kokomi's Elemental Skill allows her to apply Hydro and deal damage while healing, not all players may have access to her as a 5-star character. Fortunately, there are other strong Hydro units like Xingqiu, Yelan, or Ayato that can serve as viable alternatives.
Pyro Enabler
Electro Enabler
Xiangling is the sole reliable option for the Sukokomon team when it comes to Pyro enablers, unlike other slots that offer alternative choices. Even the Liyue Chef, which used to be a dependable off-field Pyro unit, is no longer a viable option as of version 3.7.
Fischl's versatility as a character makes her an excellent choice for Electro enabler. Not only does she have high damage potential and off-field damage dealing capabilities, but Oz, her raven companion, can also deal additional Electro damage alongside the main DPS' attacks, especially with the Constellation. This gives her a higher Electro enabling ability compared to other Electro sub-DPS. However, players can also consider using other units such as Kuki Shinobu, Lisa, Raiden Shogun, Yae Miko, or Beidou for their team composition.
For better survivability, players can opt for Kuki Shinobu in the absence of a healer. However, if Lisa has a high Constellation, she can be a good alternative. On the other hand, Raiden Shogun can be a valuable addition to the team for quickly restoring Energy. Genshin Impact is currently playable on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, with a Switch version underway.
