Go to AmberContinue On to Port Isolde
The preceding series of primary storyline missions in Final Fantasy 16 played a crucial role in establishing the backdrop for the remainder of the game. After a passage of five years, Clive has now assumed leadership of Cid's faction in the Hideaway. Adopting his mentor's name, Clive aspires to complete Cid's mission and liberate Valisthea from the ravages caused by the Mothercrystals.
With the prospect of another conflict imminent, Clive discerns an opportunity to pursue an additional Mothercrystal while the other nations are preoccupied with one another. This guide will provide Final Fantasy 16 players with insight into what to anticipate as they embark on "Bloodlines".
This walkthrough contains spoilers, so players should proceed with caution.
Go to Amber
Embark on the main scenario quest by heading towards the village known as Amber. En route, you may encounter some monsters, but since this area is quite spacious, players can choose to avoid engaging in battle with them. Once you cross the bridge, a cutscene will play. Once the cutscene concludes, approach the two villagers marked with red waypoints above their heads to gather additional information regarding the imperial activities in Amber. Continue conversing with NPCs displaying the red waypoints to initiate another cutscene.
Continue On to Port Isolde
Having concluded business in Amber, proceed towards Auldhyl by passing through Shallop Rock. Along this route, players will encounter additional Fallen constructs guarding the area. Defeat them and continue progressing through the pass. Follow the designated path and cross the narrow stone bridge to initiate a cutscene, which will be followed by a battle against a group of Black Shield soldiers.
After the battle and subsequent cutscene, head towards the gate directly in front. Opening the gate will prompt a cutscene that unlocks fast travel to this area in the future. Continue towards the west and then southwest, making your way towards Quietsands and The Silken Strand. Players can conveniently follow a cobblestone path that leads directly there. Located in a corner of Quietsands, near the shoreline, is a chest containing one Black Blood.
Continue along the cobblestone road and approach the obelisk to unlock the fast travel feature. Walking by the obelisk will trigger a cutscene. Accessing the gate is currently impossible due to a highly tense situation. However, Clive suggests an alternative route to reach Port Isolde. Nobles have privileged access to the Port Isolde through a tunnel located in Lazarus.
Despite its abandoned appearance, this location offers the most effective route to Port Isolde, as persuading the guards to grant passage through the usual means is futile. Once this cutscene concludes, "Bloodlines" wraps up, leading directly into the commencement of the "Black Light Burns" main scenario quest.
PlayStation 5 users can now enjoy Final Fantasy 16.
