In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, players can collect over 30 different Armor Sets for Link as he embarks on his adventures in Hyrule's skies, depths, and surface. These sets include familiar ones from Breath of the Wild and clever references to other Zelda games, like the Twilight Set.
The Twilight Set is a clear homage to Link's appearance in Twilight Princess. Each piece of this set is scattered throughout the treacherous Depths. While using the Super Smash Bros Link Amiibo is the easiest way to obtain it, players can also acquire the Twilight Set through an in-game method.
Using The Super Smash Bros (Or Twilight Princess) Link Amiibo
Updated on October 11th, 2023 by Jacob Buchalter, Tears of the Kingdom has been available for a significant period of time, allowing players to potentially exhaust themselves by excessively playing the game within a short duration. However, once they take a break and return to the game, they can approach it with renewed energy and strive for complete mastery, aiming for a 100 percent completion rate. While this may not be a common occurrence, considering the large influx of new players starting the game each week, it is important to provide information on where to find Link's full Twilight Princess Armor Set. This guide will cover both the Amiibo method and the in-game method.

Getting the Twilight Set is quite simple for players who already possess a collection of reliable Amiibo. However, it does require a certain level of patience. Initially, when players use their Link Amiibo in Tears of the Kingdom, they will receive Epona in the game. After that, they must wait a complete day and then use the Amiibo once more. Subsequently, a chest may appear each time, containing any of the three Twilight items: Cap, Tunic, or Trousers. To spawn another chest for the following part, players need to wait a full 24 hours between attempts. Furthermore, they will need to wait an additional day for the final piece of the set. It is worth noting that the first usage of the Amiibo guarantees only the acquisition of Epona, while the rest of the items rely on luck.
If players spawn Epona with the Amiibo but fail to register the horse at a Horse Stable, each subsequent attempt using the Link Amiibo will continuously spawn Epona until the horse is registered.
And, once all the major and minor rewards have been claimed by Link, using the Amiibo once per day will spawn a combination of various equipment or ingredients. Fortunately, for players who do not possess the Twilight Princess or Smash Bros Link Amiibo (or for those who prefer obtaining the set naturally within the game), the complete Twilight Set is available to be found in-game. However, players should be aware that acquiring this set in-game can be quite challenging. Furthermore, this represents a significant improvement compared to Breath of the Wild, in which certain Armor Sets were exclusively obtained as Amiibo rewards.
