The Shocking Winner Revealed: Unraveling the Unbelievable Twist in the ‘Too Hot to Handle’ Season 5 Finale!

Lana reveals the ultimate winner of 'Too Hot to Handle' season 5 in the thrilling Netflix finale, leaving viewers shocked

Spoiler warning.

Too Hot to Handle season 5 crowned its winner: Elys Hutchinson.

After 10 episodes of witnessing Lana's strict rules at her passionless retreat in paradise, the cast was faced with the decision of selecting either Elys, 23, or Dre Woodard as the recipient of the impressive prize of $100,000. (The prize was initially $200,000, but it was reduced due to multiple rule violations throughout the season.) After much deliberation, the ski instructor from Switzerland was declared the winner.

"My mind is racing, but I don't believe it's me," Elys, who had developed a romance with Alex Snell during the show, humorously expressed in a confessional moments before Lana announced her name. "Me! What?"

Despite feeling that he could have used the money to support his family, Dre, 23, expressed his excitement for his friend Elys. As the newly crowned winner, Elys surprised both the cast and viewers with her intentions for the $100,000 prize.

"I never imagined this happening to me, and it's truly humbling. This retreat has completely transformed my life, and $100,000 is a game-changer," Elys passionately shared, before turning to Dre. "Would you be interested in splitting the money equally?"

Dre graciously accepted Elys' offer, leaving their fellow contestants on Too Hot to Handle deeply moved by her gesture. In fact, Christine Obanor went as far as acknowledging in her confession that it reinforced Elys' deservingness of the victory.

Elys Hutchinson of Netflix's Too Hot to Handle has been described as a beautiful and kind-hearted individual. Dre, who took on the role of the unofficial "detective" to ensure that guests adhered to the show's rules, spoke highly of Elys in his confessional. He expressed his love for her and credited her with transforming his life and enabling him to provide the best life for his family. Elys holds a special place in his heart.

He said, "Elys, I adore you. You're a precious gem, a stunning one. You're a rare treasure, no doubt."

The fifth season of "Too Hot to Handle" debuted recently, as a fresh group of sexually liberated individuals were placed in Lana's exotic sanctuary to understand the importance of emotional bonds over mere physical attraction. Just before the last day, Isaac Francis and Hannah Brooke were eliminated, but Lana had one more surprise in store. This surprise had the potential to disqualify Louis Russell and Alex, who were both 28 years old, from being eligible for the ultimate prize.

Louis, 22, and Alex both had doubts about committing to their partners, Christine, 26, and Elys, respectively, until Lana gave them an ultimatum. Lana, the digital robot, allowed them to leave the retreat early without their partners in exchange for $25,000. This offer resembled a "love or money" twist seen on Love Island. However, if they turned down the offer, they would lose the chance to win the grand prize. In the end, both Louis and Alex chose to decline Lana's surprise offer. For Alex, this meant continuing his relationship with Elys, who had asked him to be her official boyfriend.
