Casey Wilson, who starred in the pilot episode of The Santa Clauses, has revealed that co-star Tim Allen was “so f**king rude” during a recent interview.
During an episode of the Bitch Sesh podcast, Wilson shared her experience working with Allen, describing it as the worst experience she's had with a co-star. In a particular scene, she was required to throw things at Allen, who was portraying a burglar disguised as Santa Claus coming down the chimney. Wilson's character mistook him for an intruder in a home invasion scenario.
"I started throwing things at him. Then, he went over to the producer who was standing just four feet away from me and said, 'You have to tell her to stop interrupting my lines.' The producer turned to me with a look of horror, took one step towards me, and said, 'Um, Tim would like you to stop interrupting his lines.'
"After he was finished, he was incredibly rude. He didn't make eye contact, didn't say anything. It was so uncomfortable," Wilson shared.
The actress who played Santa Claus also mentioned that she had kept the story hidden because her children were fans of the movies. Towards the end, Tim Allen's character drops his Santa cape and leaves, after which a stand-in steps in while people scramble to collect the costume. Someone even commented that they were seeing Tim Allen on a good day.
Tim Allen is not only recognized for his role in The Santa Clause movies, but also for his prominent presence in television shows like Home Improvement and Last Man Standing. Season 2 of The Santa Clauses is currently available for streaming on Disney Plus, where you can subscribe to access it.
