Emily Ratajkowski, a supermodel at the age of 32, attended Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, although she was not always a fan of the renowned singer. According to Ratajkowski, she was raised in a household where she was exposed to a diverse range of music by her parents. However, she admits that her family did not particularly focus on popular music, which led to her developing a certain "snobbery" towards her own generation. Consequently, she did not indulge in pop music extensively during her earlier days.
Ratajkowski admitted that a former partner helped her realize that just because something is popular, it doesn't mean it's not excellent. She shared with guest Troye Sivan, "They explained that popularity doesn't diminish the quality of something, in fact, many popular things are actually amazing. It completely changed my perspective."
One artist that Ratajkowski learned to appreciate is Taylor Swift, who is now 33. She confessed, "I used to not be a fan of Swift and now I'm realizing that being against her was actually a form of misogyny. I attended one of her concerts and witnessed firsthand that she is an exceptional songwriter and performer. Anyone who thinks otherwise probably has their own issues and lacks a refined taste. If you don't appreciate Taylor Swift, then you simply don't comprehend."

Ratajkowski attended Swift's performance in May at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey during the Eras Tour. She shared a TikTok video captioned "Swiftie Era!" in which she can be seen dancing and singing along to "Blank Space" during the concert.
Earlier this year, Ratajkowski called out Ellen DeGeneres for a 2012 interview that resurfaced and mocked Swift's romantic relationships. The interview, which featured photos of men like Joe Jonas, Justin Timberlake, and Taylor Lautner, had DeGeneres asking Swift to ring a bell for each person she had dated.
Ratajkowski spoke to Elle in March, stating that Swift is an example of a powerful and successful woman who has faced blatant misogyny and sexism. Ratajkowski believes that this is often overlooked due to Swift's white privilege. Ratajkowski found it particularly striking that, despite Swift clearly expressing her discomfort with a situation, it was treated as a joke, which deeply upset her.
