Candiace Dillard Bassett from Real Housewives of Potomac is pregnant with her first baby with husband Chris Bassett. She shared in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that she is about 13 weeks along, almost into the second trimester. Keeping the news mostly to themselves until now, they have only told their immediate family, including her mom, dad, Chris' parents, and siblings. I just had to trust the process and my doctors and stop being afraid and just do it.”

Dillard Bassett made the decision to move forward with the next steps in January, using one of the two embryos that the couple had frozen two years ago. Two weeks later, she received the exciting news.

After waiting patiently and going through a year of injections, including two rounds of egg retrieval, the process finally resulted in success. Despite the challenges of daily shots in the stomach and bum bum, Dillard Bassett was overjoyed to see everything pay off in the end.
