Jessel Taank and Sai De Silva had a challenging season together on The Real Housewives of New York City. However, Jessel believes that currently, they are in a good place.
"We are on good terms," Jessel, 43, shared exclusively with We on Tuesday, October 17. She also mentioned that watching the season back allowed her to reflect on her own actions. "There were moments where I said things that made me cringe and think, 'Oh, God, that was so awful.' When watching yourself on TV, you realize how you are portrayed and perceived by others."
When asked if Sai, who is 42, is open to forming a deeper connection, Jessel responded by saying she doesn't know and frankly, doesn't care. Jessel believes in always putting her best foot forward but acknowledges that there are limitations to what can be done. She expressed to Sai that it's okay if they are not aligned or if their personalities don't match, as not everyone has to be loved by everyone in their world.
Throughout season 14, Jessel and Sai clashed on numerous occasions. One of the reasons for the clash was Sai's perception that Jessel was trying too hard to make her past relatable to their RHONY costars. Furthermore, Sai was furious when Jessel attempted to connect with her by sharing their experiences of having family members who struggled with alcoholism. It is worth noting that both Sai's mother and Jessel's uncle passed away after battling addiction.
When Jessel attempted to assure Sai that her intention was not to distress her, Sai dismissively responded, "Ultimately, Jessel, it is of no importance to me."

Sai was unhappy with Brynn, who is 36, for disclosing the location of the boyfriend despite Ubah's explicit request to her costars to avoid discussing her relationship on camera.
Jessel, on the other hand, expressed her complete understanding of Ubah's desire to keep the relationship under wraps, considering that she and the unidentified man had just begun dating. While it appears unlikely that Ubah's boyfriend will make an appearance on RHONY anytime soon, Jessel confirmed that she has met him and holds a positive opinion of him.
Jessel excitedly told Us, "I am infatuated with him. He is incredibly attractive and it is clear that he adores her. They are filled with happiness, and I am genuinely thrilled for her."
The first part of The Real Housewives of New York City reunion will be broadcasted on Bravo on Sunday, October 22, at 9 p.m. ET.
