Squid Game: Fans spot a baffling twist in the Netflix reality series as two players mysteriously vanish, leaving eagle-eyed viewers intrigued and eager to uncover the shocking truth

Viewers of the hit Netflix reality series, Squid Game: The Challenge, have keenly observed a puzzling mystery - the vanishing of two players. Since the release of Part 1 last week, fans have been closely analyzing the details of the game show, which features 456 participants navigating through challenging tasks, along with new tests and surprises.

Furthermore, former contestants have stepped forward to reveal their firsthand experiences. Some have expressed dissatisfaction with the conditions during Red Light, Green Light, while others have shed light on undisclosed rules implemented to level the playing field.

However, two players have seemingly disappeared without explanation from the competition. Note: Spoilers are included in the following content.

Squid Game: The Challenge viewers notice disappearance of two players

After the Dalgona challenge in Episode 2, 69 contestants were eliminated, leaving a total of 119 remaining. Surprisingly, the player list on Netflix’s official page shows 121 players listed for Episode 3.

In the recent test, only one player, 198 (Husnain), was sent home, reducing the total to 118. Subsequently, in Episode 3, the Warships game resulted in 45 eliminations, bringing the number of remaining players down to 73. Upon checking Netflix's contestant list for Episode 4, the correct number of players, 73, was displayed. However, it was discovered that two players, 277 (Sabrina) and 317 (Jordan), had not been included in the count, as their eliminations were not reflected in Squid Game: The Challenge, as pointed out by Reddit user u/TraverseTown.

If you click on their number on Episode 4’s official player list, it claims that they were both “eliminated during a dorm test” – but this was never shown.

A Redditor pointed out that on the website, the number of players alive at the beginning of Episode 3 is listed as '119', matching the end of Episode 2 after the results of Dalgona. However, upon counting every player on the page, there are actually 121 people listed, including Jordan and Sabrina. The theory is that these two were eliminated in an unseen dorm test around the same time as Husnain, but the production and editing team chose not to show it.

The post concluded with a query for insights on the situation, to which a viewer responded, "I noticed that as well when creating my elimination order video. Perhaps they simply weren't compelling enough to be included, or maybe it was edited out due to time constraints?"

The OP also mentioned that they had read that more calls from the phone dorm test were edited out, with two additional calls resulting in two more people receiving food. They clarified that it was the 4th call, not the 2nd, that led to Husnain's elimination. They expressed a desire to hear the true story behind Sabrina and Jordan's elimination, and requested confirmation from one of the players about potential editing of the results board in post-production.

As a Gen Z netizen, I am intrigued by the mysterious vanishing of two players in the Squid Game: The Challenge. The fact that they were eliminated during a dorm test that was never shown has sparked a lot of speculation and theories among fans. It's possible that the production and editing team chose to cut out the dorm test due to time constraints or because it didn't fit with the narrative they wanted to present.

However, I also think it's possible that there's more to the story and that the eliminations of Sabrina and Jordan may have been more controversial or dramatic than what we've seen so far. Either way, I'm eager to find out the truth and see if Netflix releases any more information about what happened to these two players.
