The inaugural season of The Golden Bachelor ended with Gerry Turner proposing to Theresa Nist and leaving Leslie Fhima; however, will she attend their wedding?

The 72-year-old widower and retired restaurateur hit it off with multiple women during the season, eliminating every woman except for Theresa and Leslie. Though Gerry told both of the final two women that he loved them, he ultimately chose Theresa and sent Leslie home heartbroken, surprised, and in tears.

Gerry and Theresa are wasting no time planning their big wedding. Immediately after the finale, host Jesse Palmer revealed that ABC was sending the couple on an all-expenses paid trip to Italy. Then Gerry and Theresa announced they'd be getting married in just a few short weeks. Their dream wedding will be the ultimate finale of their love story and will air on January 4, 2024, on ABC.

The Golden Bachelor winner, Theresa, is busy getting ready for her upcoming nuptials, but she’s still working on the guest list for her January wedding. Theresa revealed during an episode of the podcast Bachelor Happy Hour that she was hopeful several of her former housemates would come to the wedding. She said she would happily invite Leslie but is uncertain whether Leslie will attend. She also hopes Edith Aguirre, Ellen Goltzer, Sandra Mason, and Faith Martin, who was eliminated after the hometown visits, will come to the big event.

The Heartbreak and Intense Moments

While Theresa and Leslie grew close during their time inside the mansion, Gerry broke Leslie's heart, and there were plenty of intense moments between them during the show’s final moments.

Gerry seemed to lead Leslie on until the last moment, even telling her she was 'the one.' In her own interview for Bachelor Happy Hour, Leslie struggled to say whether she respects Gerry. She obviously continues to harbor negative feelings towards him and isn't over what happened between them on the show.

The Decision to Attend

Leslie has publicly spoken about her experience on the show at great length. Though she grew close to Theresa and has no hard feelings towards her, she felt misled and blindsided by Gerry and is still very hurt. Leslie has not officially addressed whether she'd be attending The Golden Bachelor wedding, but it seems unlikely that she would want to watch the man she loved tie the knot with another woman on national television.
