Tia Booth unknowingly encountered her soulmate, Taylor Mock, before her return to Bachelor Nation for a second opportunity in Paradise.
Booth's quest for love on The Bachelor during the 2018 season with Arie Luyendyk Jr. proved unsuccessful. However, she crossed paths with Colton Underwood (who later came out as gay in April 2021) during her appearance on season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise that same year.
Booth made her return to television on the 2021 season of BiP, where she dated Kenny Braasch, James Bonsall, and Blake Monar. However, it was upon her return to Nashville that she found love with Mock, whom she had met months before filming the series.
During an episode of the "Click Bait" podcast in October 2021, Booth revealed, "He mustered up the courage one day to hit on me and ask me to hang out. At the time, I brushed him off because I was going on Bachelor in Paradise. But after I got back home, I realized that he had been trying all along, and that's exactly what I wanted on the show. So, I decided to give it a shot and things have been great between us."
They got engaged in 2022 and tied the knot in 2023.

Bachelor Nation’s Tia Booth and Fiance Taylor Mock’s Relationship Timeline
Tia Booth may have not realized it at the time, but she met The One in Taylor Mock before she even returned to Bachelor Nation for a second stint in Paradise.
Booth's journey to find love on reality TV didn't yield results during her time on The Bachelor in 2018, vying for Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s affections. She later made an appearance on season 5 of Bachelor in Paradise that same year, where she briefly connected with Colton Underwood (who later came out as gay in April 2021).
Taking a break from TV for several years, Booth made a comeback on the 2021 season of BiP. Throughout the season, she dated Kenny Braasch, James Bonsall, and Blake Monar. However, it wasn't until she returned to Nashville and began spending time with Mock, whom she had met months prior to filming the series, that she finally found love.
"He mustered the courage one day to flirt with me and invite me to spend time together, and I responded by saying, 'Darling, I'll be appearing on Bachelor in Paradise. I'll catch up with you later,'" she shared during an October 2021 episode of the "Click Bait" podcast. "But once I returned home, I realized that this persistent individual had been trying all along, which was exactly what I sought during the show. So I decided to give it a chance, and our relationship has flourished ever since."
They exchanged vows in 2023 after getting engaged the previous year.

“We never really had a traditional first date. He persisted in trying to win me over, until one day I found myself in a particularly good mood. I suggested, ‘If you feel like spending time with me, you can come to my place. I have some errands and tasks to take care of, but you're welcome to join me,’” she shared on the “Click Bait” podcast, describing the unconventional start of their relationship after appearing on BiP. “And that was the very first occasion where we spent time together just the two of us.”

“This guy truly deserves more recognition for dealing with my s—t,” she exclaimed on Instagram. “He entered my life during the most challenging period I've ever experienced and hasn't faltered. I've attempted to push him away countless times, but he has remained by my side throughout it all. Maybe one day, after we have overcome these obstacles, I will pen a book to elucidate, but for now, here are some authentic gentle smiles.”
