Jordan Kimball is now a father, and he is excited to share all the exclusive details with us. On Monday, July 3, Christina Kimball (formerly known as Creedon), who is Jordan's wife, gave birth to their first child, a baby boy named Thomas Austin.
"He has arrived! What a memorable night it was! Christina and I joyfully embraced our precious firstborn, Thomas Austin Kimball, on July 3rd at 9:08. It was an incredible experience, with Christina displaying immense strength and selflessness during labor. I cheered her on, supported her, and witnessed one of the proudest moments of my life. Thomas weighed 8 pounds and 1 ounce, measuring just over 21 inches - he is absolutely beautiful. The journey began in December 2022 when Us Magazine announced Christina's pregnancy. I was pleasantly surprised when she revealed the news by presenting a positive pregnancy test next to my favorite dessert."
Jordan shared with Us that while he was out of town, Christina had already planned to surprise him with his favorite treat, a carrot cake, when he returned home. They had discussed starting a family, and it had been almost a year since their wedding. When he walked through the door, he discovered a pregnancy test placed next to the cake, which was an adorable and thrilling way to find out the news. The former ABC star confessed to Us that he had been wishing for a baby boy.
"We desire to expand our family, and for our first child, I hope for a son who can fulfill the role of an older brother and protector," he expressed. "However, if we are blessed with a baby girl, we will equally cherish and embrace her, as our only wish is for a delighted and healthy baby. I am prepared to embrace whatever comes our way."
A month later, the couple joyously discovered that they were indeed going to have a son and had already selected his name. This name pays homage to Jordan's grandfather and father.
Jordan and Christina crossed paths soon after his second appearance on Bachelor in Paradise in 2019. They got engaged on Christmas Eve in December 2020 and exchanged vows in January 2022.
"I have never been this excited for anything in my life," Jordan expressed to Us when discussing his journey into parenthood. "With all the preparations and our plans to begin a family following the wedding, the past year and a half has been eventful with the house, the wedding, and now this."
