Both Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga have been confirmed to return for the upcoming 14th season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. There were rumors among fans that one or both of them might not be coming back due to their intense feud during season 13. The rest of the cast, including Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, Jennifer Aydin, Danielle Cabral, and Rachel Fuda, are also expected to make a comeback.
Melissa confirmed earlier this year that she had no intention of leaving RHONJ, despite rumors of production being put on hold for season 14 due to her and husband Joe Gorga's ongoing drama with Teresa. On her podcast "On Display with Melissa Gorga" in May, Melissa expressed that her family has experienced various challenges throughout their years on the show, but she has remained committed and has no plans of exiting now.
Andy Cohen revealed in his book The Daddy Diaries that the feud between the RHONJ families caused the BravoCon 2022 panel to be split in two. Teresa called Cohen and declared that she would never speak to her brother and sister-in-law again. Allegedly, Melissa sent Cohen a 2,000-word text during the convention, detailing a fight she and Joe had with co-star Jennifer.
The tension between the sisters-in-law began when Teresa accused Melissa of cheating on Joe during a business trip. These accusations led the Gorgas to skip Teresa's August 2022 wedding to her now-husband, Luis "Louie" Ruelas. The couple's nuptials, along with the behind-the-scenes drama, were filmed for the Bravo special Teresa Gets Married, which aired in late May.
During the recent season 13 finale of RHONJ, Melissa referred to Teresa as a "dysfunctional sister-in-law." Melissa accused Teresa of spreading a baseless rumor about her marriage falling apart and claimed that Teresa thrives on their potential divorce.
In retaliation, Teresa accused Melissa of tipping off authorities when she and her ex-husband Joe Giudice were convicted of tax fraud back in 2014. This legal trouble led to Teresa serving an 11-month prison sentence in 2015. On the other hand, Melissa argued that her husband couldn't visit Teresa in prison because she didn't include Joe Gorga's name on her visitor list until they were filming Teresa Checks In, a 2015 Bravo special about her time behind bars. Teresa, however, denied these allegations.
