A North Carolina judge has recently made a decision on Jenelle Evans' request for a restraining order against her estranged husband David Eason. Evans' representative, August Keen, shared that the court has approved a six-month domestic violence protective order.

As per the ruling, Eason, who is 35 years old, is not allowed to have any contact with his ex-girlfriend and her children. This information was shared by Evans' attorney, Brandon Pettijohn, with the U.S. Sun. Additionally, Eason is prohibited from posting about the reality star on social media, visiting the children's schools, and he must also surrender his firearms.

Evans, who is 32 years old, has a son named Jace, who is 14 years old, with her ex-boyfriend Andrew Lewis, and a son named Kaiser, who is 9 years old, with her ex-boyfriend Nathan Griffith. As for the custody of Evans and Eason's daughter, Ensley, who is 7 years old, no specific provisions were made in the ruling due to their ongoing child custody case.

Jenelle Evans, a former star of 16 & Pregnant, and her husband left the courtroom without speaking to each other. Us has contacted Evans' lawyer for more information. According to The Ashley's Reality Roundup, Eason, who represented himself, did not have a lawyer and opposed the protective order.

In March, Evans decided to separate from her husband after being married for six years. The reality star, who married Eason in September 2017, mentioned that she filed the papers with the intention of a permanent separation.

After a social media user questioned why she filed for a separation and not a divorce, the former Teen Mom 2 star explained her decision. She clarified that in the state of North Carolina, you have to be legally separated for a year and prove you have two separate addresses before filing for divorce. Due to both parties not wanting to leave, she filed for something called separation by bed and board.

Fans will get a sneak peek into Evans' evolving life as she makes a special appearance on Teen Mom: The Next Chapter. According to a press release from MTV, Evans will be featured on the show as she navigates through her divorce and makes significant changes in her life following the premiere on May 30.

Evans was let go from Teen Mom 2 in May 2019 due to an incident where Eason, her husband, shot and killed their family dog. Prior to this, MTV had already severed ties with Eason a year earlier because of homophobic comments he made on social media.

“I was a little bit shocked but I saw it coming,” Evans exclusively told Us at the time of her firing. “It’s shocking still but I respect their decision and have nothing but love for MTV.”
