Taylor Swift's Surprise Fashion Choice at Chiefs Game Leaves Erin Andrews Speechless

Swifties were in a frenzy when Taylor Swift made an appearance at the October 12 game. However, Erin Andrews was taken aback when she noticed that the singer was sporting a windbreaker from her own clothing line, WEAR by Erin Andrews.

During an episode of the "Calm Down With Erin and Charissa" podcast on Friday, October 20, cohost Charissa Thompson expressed surprise at Swift modeling merchandise from Andrews' football line. Andrews, a 45-year-old sports commentator, admitted that she had no idea this would happen. She explained, "I wasn't even thinking about it. I was more excited that she was there because it was your game. We have a friendship with Travis [Kelce]. I was excited about all that. Maybe you could even grab a chicken finger with ketchup and ranch with her. Let's be honest, you and I are both waiting for that suite invite, even though we know we can never attend."

Thompson mentioned, "Rest assured, we have sent him the text. We're all set to hang out whenever you're available! He's smitten and occupied."

Likewise, Andrews was also occupied getting ready for work upon receiving the news.

"I didn't even have it on my mind," she revealed. "Nick Bosa, the Chiefs defensive lineman, will be calling me in ten minutes to provide me with notes for the 49ers - Browns game... Then, I scrolled through my Instagram and came across a video showing her entering with her charming skirt, boots - which I absolutely adore, by the way - and her delightful top, all complemented by her striking red lipstick. I've been longing to wear that shade myself, although I understand it's not appropriate. At that moment, I couldn't help but think, 'Could it be her? Is it really her? I'm not certain!'"

Once Andrews confirmed with multiple teammates that Swift had indeed been wearing a Kansas City Chiefs WEAR by Erin Andrews windbreaker, her delight knew no bounds.

"In a nutshell, after a series of events, we finally reached confirmation, visual confirmation, and understanding. I was overjoyed," Andrews confessed. "I received a call from Nick Bosa, and he greeted me by saying, 'Hey Erin, how are you?' And I responded, 'Well, Nick, when Taylor Swift attends the Thursday night game wearing your windbreaker, life couldn't be better.' I mean, I couldn't be happier. How about you and your defense?"

Swift made her first appearance at an NFL game in September, following an invitation from Kelce, aged 34, who publicly asked her to watch him perform at Arrowhead Stadium after attending her Eras Tour earlier in July. As their relationship intensified, the Grammy Award winner joined him for games on October 1 and October 12. Days later, they were photographed holding hands while spending time together in New York City.

Andrews recently shared that she had sent her collection to Swift, with the anticipation that the singer would wear the brand and be photographed in it while showing support for her new partner. "I really hope she decides to wear something from the pieces we sent," Andrews expressed to Variety shortly after Swift's first appearance at a Chiefs game. "Swift's fans are incredibly devoted and have a strong desire to be connected to whatever she endorses. I find it absolutely captivating."

During an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers on Monday, October 16, Andrews revealed that Travis had openly expressed his disappointment in not having the opportunity to meet Taylor. Andrews, who is good friends with both Travis and Taylor, candidly admitted that they jokingly encouraged Taylor to pursue a relationship with him. In fact, they even playfully mentioned their hopes of officiating their wedding and witnessing the proposal.

According to an insider, the couple's relationship is becoming more significant. Although they haven't explicitly declared their love, it is evident to their friends that they are progressing towards that stage. Their friends believe that they are in love.
