Taylor Swift gave a special nod to her boyfriend Travis Kelce while performing her song “So High School” for the first time.

During her Eras Tour show in Paris on Thursday, May 9, Swift introduced a new section of her setlist featuring songs from her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department. When she reached “So High School” — a track believed to be inspired by her relationship with Kelce — the pop star included a subtle shoutout to the NFL player in her performance.

During the performance, Swift surprised the audience by breaking into a “swag surf,” a popular move among Kansas City Chiefs fans, inspired by the anthem “Swag Surfin’” by Fast Life Yungstaz. She and her dancers sat on bleachers, swaying and waving their hands like waves. Swift even performed the “swag surf” with Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, at the Chiefs vs. Miami Dolphins game in February.

Taking the performance up a notch, Swift had dancer Kameron Saunders, brother of former Chiefs player Khalen Saunders, do one of Kelce’s signature touchdown celebrations during the lyrics, “You know what you want / And boy, you got her.”

Swift's TTPD setlist featured songs like "So High School," "But Daddy I Love Him," "Who's Afraid of Little Old Me," "Down Bad," "Fortnight," "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived," and "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart." She also performed "loml" during the acoustic set, following the Midnights song "Paris."

Including songs from her TTPD album, which was released last month, led to changes in the concert lineup. This meant that songs like "The Archer" from her 2019 album Lover were removed completely, and the sections dedicated to Evermore and Folklore were merged into one.

"We've brought the sisters back together on The Eras Tour!" she excitedly announced, referring to the two albums she released in 2020. "Whether you prefer to call them Folklore, Evermore, or the sister albums, they're all here for you to enjoy!"

Swift also took a moment to refresh her show with a new wardrobe. She showcased new Lover and Midnights bodysuits, changed her Fearless dress from gold to silver, and unveiled a brand new “Enchanted” gown. For the Red set, Swift sported a new T-shirt that said, “This Is Not Taylor’s Version.” A new whimsical yellow dress made an appearance for Folklore and Evermore, and 1989 featured a blue-and-pink sequined outfit.

Thursday marked Swift’s return to the stage after a two-month break from touring, starting her international leg that will continue through December. Although Kelce, Swift's boyfriend since the summer of 2023, was not present at the show, he showed his support by cheering on Swift and her band on social media.

“LFG!” he wrote in the comments section of Swift’s longtime guitarist Paul Sidoti’s Instagram before the concert.
