Taylor Swift’s “Fortnight” challenge video caught the attention of the fashion community, especially the designer of the lavender Pop Flex Active skort.

Cassey Ho, the designer of the brand’s Pirouette skort, expressed her excitement on Instagram on Saturday, April 20. She wrote, “CANT MOVE CANT THINK ABSOLUTELY DEAD MY IDOL MY INSPIRATION. YOU MADE MY WILDEST DREAM COME TRUE TONIGHT AND I WILL NEVER EVER EVER FORGET [IT].”

Swift, 34, shared a video of herself on April 19, giving a glimpse into her day. In the video, she was seen playing pickleball while sporting a lavender skirt and a white T-shirt, with a Kansas City Chiefs-branded paddle in hand.

The lavender Pirouette skort, also known as "Cassey's Version," was previously sold out. However, after Swift showcased it in her video, the brand decided to open up a limited number of preorders that will be shipped in July. The brand mentioned that they are working hard to produce more skorts as quickly as possible.

Ho expressed her gratitude to Taylor for supporting an independent designer on Instagram. She admired Taylor's resilience in facing those who have exploited her and her work. Ho found inspiration in Taylor's graceful and creative approach to fighting back, which motivated her to continue designing.

Taylor Swift’s ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ has sparked a lot of discussion about which song is the best. Swift has been in a battle with her former record label, Big Machine, over control of her past discography. When the catalog was sold to Scooter Braun in 2019, Swift was disappointed that she was not given the same opportunity. Braun has since sold the masters, but Swift is taking control by rerecording her first six albums under a “Taylor’s Version” label that she owns. So far, only Taylor Swift, her self-titled debut LP, and Reputation have not been rerecorded.
