Taylor Swift asked Blake Lively to meet her at midnight for a night of birthday celebrations.
On Wednesday, December 13, the couple was seen strolling hand in hand in New York City. Swift, 33, appeared to draw inspiration from her 10th studio album, sporting a black mini dress with a silver moon and stars design. To keep warm in the cold weather, she added a black jacket and completed the look with high-platform heels and a silver purse. Her hair was worn loose around her shoulders and she wore her signature bold red lip.
On the other hand, Lively exuded major Reputation vibes in a fitted black leather dress and matching Louis Vuitton knee-high boots. She accessorized with a black and gold purse, gold hoop earrings and several bangles, while her strawberry blonde curls were styled over her shoulder.
The pair, long-standing friends, appeared to be on their way to a party in honor of Swift's 34th birthday. Also spotted entering the Lower East Side club were Swift's friends Miles Teller and his wife, Keleigh Teller. This marked the second evening of birthday celebrations with close friends for Swift, who had also celebrated with the Tellers and close friend Selena Gomez on the previous night at a Manhattan club.
Gomez, 31, was not at the event on Wednesday, but she did send birthday wishes to her best friend on social media. "Happy birthday to the amazing Taylor Swift," she wrote on her Instagram Stories with a selfie of Swift kissing her on the cheek. "I love you."
Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, was also absent, but a source revealed earlier this month that the NFL star, 34, was planning something special for Swift’s birthday. The insider mentioned that Kelce wanted to throw the best possible party for his girlfriend and her close friends in New York City, and money was no object.

Swift recently came back from Kansas City earlier this week, where she enjoyed some quality time with her boyfriend. They both attended a holiday party at a bar on Sunday, December 10, following the Chiefs' loss to the Buffalo Bills. Photos from the event were shared by friends and family, with one capturing a sweet moment of Swift kissing Kelce after the game.
Swift and Kelce's connection began in September when she was seen supporting him at Arrowhead Stadium. Two months earlier, Kelce shared on his “New Heights” podcast that he attempted to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number during her Eras Tour concert. Although the couple did not get a chance to meet at the show, it certainly piqued Swift’s interest.

I think some people believe that they saw our first date at that game?" she added. "We would never be crazy enough to make a public appearance for our first date."
