Taylor Swift approaches her workouts like a machine, with a mindset that reflects her dedication tenfold.
Her personal trainer, Kirk Myers, praised her exceptional work ethic in an interview with Vogue on Friday, April 19. He mentioned that he puts the 34-year-old pop star through a challenging routine that some people might find too intense, with the possibility of feeling nauseous or needing to take a break.
How does Swift train at the gym? According to Myers, the owner of Dogpound gym in Los Angeles, he customized a workout plan to match her career and hectic schedule.
Myers explained to the fashion magazine, "We approached her training for the Eras Tour like a professional athlete. We had an 'off-season' when she wasn't touring and an 'in-season' when she was. When she's not on tour, we hit the gym up to six days a week, sometimes for two hours a day."
Swift started her three-hour-long Eras concert in March 2023, entertaining audiences both in her home country and abroad. After taking a short break in April, Swift will be back on stage next month in Paris.
During breaks from her tour, Swift collaborates with Myers at his gym, where they concentrate on strength and conditioning exercises. Swift takes care of her cardio workouts independently.
Myers described Taylor as incredibly resilient and inspiring. He admires how she continuously overcomes challenges and grows stronger. This determination is evident in her training and workouts.
