It’s hard not to be a fan of Taylor Swift — just ask the significant others of some of her exes.
In March 2024, Calvin Harris‘ wife, Vick Hope, surprised Swift fans by admitting that she listens to the pop star’s music when her husband is not around. Swift and Harris dated for 15 months before breaking up in June 2016. Reports indicated that Harris was the one who ended their relationship. (Swift then began dating Tom Hiddleston shortly after.)
Tay Lautner, Taylor Lautner's wife, is also a big fan of Taylor Swift. She described herself as an "OG fan" of the singer-songwriter.
In February 2023, she shared on the "Viall Files" podcast that she attended one of Taylor Swift's earliest concerts at a small theater. She became a fan after her best friend introduced her to Swift's music.
Tay, who managed to get a photo with Swift during the early stages of her career, considers Speak Now as her top album. The songs on this album, originally released in 2010 and reissued in 2023, were influenced by Swift's relationship with Tay's current husband.
Tay expressed her admiration for the album by saying, "That album was the one I was like, 'That’s probably one of the best albums of all time.' The lyrics are insane."

Sophie Turner
Turner and Joe Jonas got married in May 2019, over ten years after Jonas had a short relationship with Swift. Despite their breakup, Swift moved on and seemed to mention Jonas and Turner in her song "Invisible String" from her 2020 album Folklore.
In the song, she sings, "Cold was the steel of my axe to grind for the boys who broke my heart. Now I send their babies presents." (Turner and Jonas have two daughters together, Willa and Delphine.)

Before Turner and Jonas’ divorce in 2023, the Game of Thrones star often expressed her admiration for Taylor Swift's music. She even went as far as calling 1989 one of her "favorite albums of all time" during a TikTok Live in 2022. Additionally, a year prior, Turner shared a photo of herself listening to "Mr. Perfectly Fine," a track from Fearless (Taylor’s Version) that was inspired by Swift's breakup with Jonas back in 2007.
At the time, Turner playfully remarked, "It’s not NOT a bop."
After Turner and Jonas broke up, it was clear that Turner and Swift had become friends. Swift even allowed Turner to stay at her apartment in NYC while she was going through her divorce.

She shared, "As soon as my husband leaves, I like to listen to Taylor Swift. It's just my way of unwinding a bit. I'll play a few songs, enjoy the music, and then I'm good to go."
Listening to Taylor Swift
Swift and the actor first met in 2009 while working on the movie Valentine's Day. Over a decade later, they tied the knot in 2022. Despite their split, they have managed to maintain a friendly relationship. In 2023, Taylor made a special appearance in the music video for "I Can See You," a previously unreleased track from Speak Now (Taylor's Version). During Swift's Eras Tour in Kansas City, all three Taylors shared a heartwarming moment backstage.

“I know on paper, it sounds like a tough situation, but I not once was ever worried about it,” the Twilight star said on his and Tay’s podcast, “The Squeeze.”
Tay was enthusiastic about Swift, praising her as "sweet" and "respectful". She joked about being the middleman for the Swifties, feeling like she had a responsibility to speak up for them.
Editor's P/S:
It's fascinating to learn that the wives of Taylor Swift's ex-boyfriends are fans of her music. It suggests that Swift's talent and charisma transcend personal relationships. Vick Hope's admission that she enjoys listening to Swift's music when her husband Calvin Harris is absent highlights the universal appeal of Swift's artistry. Similarly, Tay Lautner's wife's admiration for Swift's album "Speak Now," which was inspired by her relationship with Lautner's current husband, adds a layer of complexity to the situation.
These instances also demonstrate that breakups do not necessarily result in animosity or bitterness. Sophie Turner's continued appreciation for Swift's music despite her split from Joe Jonas, and her subsequent friendship with Swift, is a testament to the maturity and grace with which they have handled their past relationship. It's heartening to see that even in the aftermath of romantic entanglements, the power of music can bridge divides and bring people together.
