After dazzling audiences in the United States, South America, Mexico, Australia, and Asia with sold-out shows, the 34-year-old singer is finally taking a well-deserved break.
"We had an amazing time playing 6 shows in Singapore with the most fantastic crowds. I just want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who traveled and made the effort to come to our shows," Swift shared on Instagram on Monday, March 10. "It was truly an unforgettable way to wrap up this leg of the tour! Can't wait to see you all in May when we kick off the Eras Tour again! In the meantime, I'm gearing up to release a new album."
Swift is set to release her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, on April 19 during her break from touring. Alongside promoting TTPD, Swift has been enjoying quality time at home in Los Angeles with her boyfriend Travis Kelce. Kelce, 34, joined Swift at several shows in Argentina, Australia, and Singapore while on his NFL offseason and bye week.
“They are focused on resting, recuperating, and relaxing at home, enjoying low-key and chill time together,” a source exclusively told We later in March. They are having movie nights in her home theater, catching up on films and shows they’ve missed. Finally, they can rest and plan to spend quality time together with friends and family.
Swift’s downtime will come to an end in May as she heads to France for the first show of the next leg of Eras. The European shows will kick off at Paris’ La Défense Arena on Thursday, May 9, and continue until Sunday, May 12. Paramore will once again join as the tour’s opening act. After bidding farewell to the City of Lights, Swift will continue her tour to Sweden, Portugal, Spain, England, and more.
