Taylor Swift's Eras Tour mash-ups are undeniably among the highlights of her performances.

At her first concert in Singapore, Swift wowed the audience with two mash-ups during the acoustic segment. The first mash-up combined the romantic tunes "Mine" and "Starlight" from her albums Speak Now (Taylor's Version) and Red (Taylor's Version).

"This has become my favorite part of the show because it’s very chaotic and challenging for me to come up with new ideas for each city," Swift, 34, shared with the audience on Saturday, March 2, as seen in social media videos. "I hope I'm doing something that you all enjoy. It's been so much fun!"

Shortly after, Swift delighted the crowd with another mash-up as she sat at her piano. The 14-time Grammy winner blended "I Don’t Wanna Live Forever," her 2017 duet with Zayn Malik for the 50 Shades soundtrack, with "Dress" from her album Reputation.

Taylor Swift revealed that she came up with the idea of incorporating a crazy acoustic section during her Eras Tour debut in March 2023. She did this so she could perform as many songs as possible each night. The setlist includes a total of 44 songs, along with two rotating options.

Although Swift rarely explains her choice of surprise songs, fans have been speculating that the inclusion of "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" and "Dress" could be a subtle hint at the upcoming release of Reputation (Taylor's Version).

“She sang IDWLF and Dress… rep songs??? IDWLF on repeat vault???? Coming soon!??!” one social media user wrote via X.

Another person mentioned, "Could the release date of 'I Don't Wanna Live Forever' and the fact that 'Dress' is the 12th track on Reputation be a hint for a Reputation TV show?"

"I Don't Wanna Live Forever" was released on December 9, 2017, which is in the 12th month of the year. Similarly, "Dress" holds the 12th spot on the tracklist of Reputation.

Taylor Swift also shared the number on her Instagram, along with the caption “A message from the department.” This seems to be related to her upcoming album named Tortured Poets Department, set to be released in April.

Another fan expressed confusion about Taylor going live, questioning the message behind it. They appreciated the high definition live performance of "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" with a dress, but were unsure of the purpose. A second fan wondered if Taylor was hinting at a Rep TV clue with her live appearance. They were puzzled by the lack of announcement following the live session and mentioned their enjoyment of the piano mashup of "I Don't Wanna Live Forever" with Dress, but noted that it was out of character for Taylor.
